Doctors successfully removed his left arm with plans for a prosthetic later. They also completed procedures on the femur and patella that saved his left leg. Miller announced he will step away indefinitely from his role. ESPN placed him on leave so he can focus fully on healing. He thanked everyone for the prayers and support during this difficult time. “A quick update: The surgery to remove my left arm was successful with hopes of an eventual prosthetic replacement.
