Kendrick Perkins has a SportsCenter moment circulating on social media again this weekend.
The ESPN analyst appeared on the show last October, ahead of NBA opening night. He joined host Elle Duncan to preview the Houston Rockets-Oklahoma City Thunder opener.
Perkins closed his segment with “What you need ibuprofen for when you can have a Perc?”
He first asked Duncan, “You ready for this one?”
She answered, “Oh God, OK.”

Duncan Said Perkins Was Trying To Top Her Perk Pun
Duncan responded on X after the clip spread, Sports Illustrated reports.
“Lol yo the comments are wild,” she wrote. She then explained that she opened the segment with her own “Perk” idiom, as she always does. In her words, “this was him trying to top it.”
She also called Perkins “my FAVE” in the post. She added that “there was no shot shotted.”
Her post followed an opener that the Thunder won 125-124 in double overtime.
