The Tennessee Titans and Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a massive blockbuster deal, eight days before the Oct. 31 trade deadline.

Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Eagles are acquiring Pro Bowl safety Kevin Byard from Tennessee in exchange for safety Terrell Edmunds and fifth and sixth-round draft choices.

The 30-year-old Byard had been the heart and soul of the Tennessee defense since his 2016 rookie year. The two-time Pro Bowler has 27 career interceptions, 63 pass defenses and a trio of forced fumbles.

Titans running back Derrick Henry and wide receiver Ryan Tannehill have also been mentioned aplenty in the trade rumor mill. Considering that Tennessee just gave away Byard for a surprisingly low price, one can only assume that GM Ran Carthon has plenty more deadline deals coming.
