It sounds like highly-regarded Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator Kellen Moore is headed back to the NFC East.

According to a report from Howard Eskin of 94 WIP/FOX 29 in Philadelphia, the Eagles are “close to making” Moore their new offensive coordinator. The 35-year-old interviewed for the Eagles’ OC vacancy on Friday.

Earlier this week, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni fired offensive coordinator Brian Johnson and DC Sean Desai. Last year, Sirianni lost OC Shane Steichen and DC Jonathan Gannon, who left to coach the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals, respectively.

Moore was the Dallas Cowboys’ offensive coordinator from 2019 to 2022, but head coach Mike McCarthy decided to move on from him after a disappointing Divisional Round playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
