The face of influencer boxing, Jake Paul, also known as “The Problem Child,” is getting ready for his upcoming fight.
In an exhibition match, Paul is slated to fight boxing legend “Iron” Mike Tyson on Saturday, July 20th, 2024. This will be his 10th professional fight, but where will Tyson sit if we rank him out of Jake’s existing 9 other opponents he has already faced inside the ring?

10. Ryan Bourland
Jake Paul faced the previous 17-2 Ryan Bourland in his most recent bout on March 2nd, 2024. Bourland was the third professional boxer Paul had faced in his pro career, having gone 1-1 in his previous 2 fights against pro opponents. Bourland had won 3 straight fights coming into his face-off against Paul, with the last fight being in 2022. Bourland was also the winner of Golden Gloves before turning pro in 2013. Their match would see Paul teeing off on Bourland without any pushback for a TKO at 2:37 in Round 1.
9. Nate Robinson
Known more appropriately as an NBA star, Jake Paul would face off against the retired basketball star on the undercard of the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. card on November 28th, 2020. This would be Robinson’s only boxing match after the result of the bout. The fight would only make it through 1 whole round before Robinson would be violently dropped to the canvas at 1:35 of the second round.

8. Andre August
The second of Jake Paul’s opponents with a major background in professional boxing, August entered the fight with a 10-1-1 record. Paul and August faced off on December 15th, 2023 in Orlando, Florida, where Paul would take out the former Golden Gloves champion after a vicious uppercut at 2:32 of the first round.
7. Ben Askren
In his third professional fight, Jake Paul took on his first UFC fighter Ben Aksren. Askren known for having a jaw of steel had a UFC record of 19 wins and 2 losses. Jake would play mind games with Askren in the build-up, training with UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal, known for knocking Askren out 5 seconds into their match. Paul and Askren would face off on April 17, 2021, on the now defunct Triller, seeing the fight called off at 1:59 of round one after the ref deemed Askren unfit to continue.
6. Ali Eson Gib
Gib was Paul’s first pro boxing opponent. After fellow YouTuber KSI told Jake that he would fight Jake if he beat his friend Gib, Paul wasted no time taking the fight. Jake Paul vs AnEsonGib headlined the card on January 30th, 2020. Jake would go on to acquire his first of many first-round victories, taking Gib out via TKO. After the fight, there was a heated confrontation between Jake and KSI, a match-up everyone wanted but we have not yet got. Gib would go on to fight and beat influencer Austin McBroom, giving him a 1-1 pro record.
5. Nate Diaz
The last UFC fighter Paul has faced to date, there was no shortage of build-up for this fight. Jake Paul and Diaz’s camp would go back and forth throughout Paul’s back-to-back matches with Tyron Woodley. Paul and Diaz would face off in Dallas, Texas. Fans would see all 8 rounds of the fight. Nate would showboat while Paul would knock him down in the fifth round earning a unanimous decision win. Diaz is one of Paul’s few opponents slated for a fight in another boxing match as he will be taking on the aforementioned Jorge Masvidal.
4. Tyron Woodley
Jake Paul would face the aforementioned Woodley twice in his professional boxing career, both times ending in Paul’s victory. Woodley was the second UFC fighter Paul would take on in a boxing match. Their first bout would go all 8 rounds where it ended in a controversial split decision win for Paul. After being scheduled to fight Tommy Fury, Paul would end up taking on Woodley a second time due to a rib injury Fury sustained in camp. In their second fight, Paul left no doubt knocking Woodley out cold in the sixth round.
3. Anderson Silva
Silva is considered one of the best-ever strikers to step foot in a UFC octagon. Not only did his previous record include over 40 fights, but a 3-2 boxing record as well. Jake Paul was slated to fight Silva on October 29th, 2022 in Glendale Arizona. The fight would sell over 200,000 paper views and would see all 8 rounds of action. Jake Paul would take the fight via unanimous decision after the 47-year-old Silva would state that he had not prepared properly.
2. Tommy Fury
As the half-brother of Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and Jake Paul’s only career loss, the aforementioned Tommy Fury is undoubtedly Jake’s toughest opponent on the list. After a cancelled fight in late 2021, both Jake and Tommy went into the bout as undefeated fighters, Jake at 6-0 and Tommy at 8-0. Fury and Paul would go back and forth for 8 rounds, Fury being crowned the split-decision victor thereafter.

One of the best in the sport, Jake Paul will face “Iron” Mike Tyson in an exhibition match on July 20th. Paul and Tyson will be fighting in the first-ever live sports event on Netflix and is expected to have over 200 million homes watching. Mike is coming into the fight with a 50-6 record with 44 KOs while Paul joins him in the ring with a 9-1 record with 6 KOs.
Mike Tyson during the fight will be 58 years old separating the two fighters with almost a 30-year age gap. But no matter what results the fight will yield. There is no second thought when it comes to fighting the boxing legend. Mike Tyson retired a long time back, but the fighters, blood in him have taken up the opportunity to fight inside the ring again.
