The MLB has players from 20 different countries that are currently active on the 26-man Rosters around the league. Let’s go over the best player from each country currently that are currently on active rosters, going from most popular to least popular country.

There are plenty of options I could’ve went with here, but I decided to go with the Yankees Superstar RF that broke the AL home run record last year with 62 home runs. An amazing record that probably won’t be broken for quite some time. He’s dealt with injuries this season, unfortunately, but when healthy, he is one of the best players in the entire MLB.

2 – Fernando Tatis Jr. (Dominican Republic, 118 Players)

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – MARCH 20: Fernando Tatis Jr. #23 of the San Diego Padres is seen in the dugout in the 8th inning during the 2024 Seoul Series game between Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres at Gocheok Sky Dome on March 20, 2024 in Seoul, South Korea. Tatis Jr. is only 24 years old but he already has an All-Star appearance in 2021 and is a 2x All-MLB First Teamer in 2020 and 2021. He also led the NL in Home Runs in 2021 and was the Silver Slugger in 2020 and 2021. This season Tatis Jr. is batting .260 with 19 HRs. I see no reason as to why Tatis Jr. can’t continue to improve and represent the Dominican Republic well.

3 – Ronald Acuna Jr. (Venezuela, 73 Players)

He’s a 4-time All-Star with 2 All-MLB 2nd Team nods while also being a member of the prestigious 30-30 club in 2019 at just age 21. He is the best player on the NL East-leading Braves and has them in excellent position for another deep playoff run.
