In Game 4, the Los Angeles Lakers ended their losing streak against the Denver Nuggets with a 119-108 victory. The win kept the Lakers in the series after three straight defeats and marked their first win against Nikola Jokic’s team in 11 games. LeBron James led the Lakers with 30 points in an energetic performance at Crypto.com Arena, preventing a sweep and giving hope to Lakers fans.

However, the Lakers still need to win three more games against the powerful Denver club to win the series, which has never been achieved in the NBA. Before Game 5, former NBA player Dwight Howard challenged LeBron James, the Lakers’ star player, to a difficult task that he believes will settle the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) debate.

Dwight Howard shared a picture of LeBron James on X (previously known as Twitter). The image displayed the sentence “0-149 The overall record of NBA teams when trailing 3-0 in a playoff series.” Howard also added a caption to the post stating, “LeBron could be the first to achieve this! Then he will be the GOAT.”

Howard has given James an unprecedented task in the game, something he has never done before. James is no stranger to challenges, as he has faced similar situations since he joined the league. Game 5 of the series is of utmost importance to the Lakers compared to Games 6 and 7.

If the Lakers win away from home, they can play Game 6 at home. Although Nikola Jokic and his teammates have a good chance of winning the series when they face the Nuggets in Denver, the Lakers can turn things around with a win in Game 5.
