This week in the MLB featured star-studded matchups, horrible defeats, and team division matchups. So, after another exciting week, here are the Power Rankings after week 10 in the MLB.

Which teams continued to climb up in this week’s MLB rankings?

30. Chicago White Sox (Last Week's Rank: 30)

Outside of a long win streak, there is no chance the White Sox will move out of the 30th spot. This team is terrible and will get worse in the upcoming weeks around the trade deadline, as they will move a lot of their talent.

29. Miami Marlins (Last Week's Rank: 28)

It’s expected that the White Sox will be bad, but the Marlins are a talented roster that is struggling in unison. This team features multiple former All-Stars who have immensely underperformed.

28. Colorado Rockies (Last Week's Rank: 29)

The Colorado Rockies continue to tango with the Marlins, who will have the second-worst record this year. Even with the 11th-best batting average, the Rockies still can’t find a way to win games, even at home, with their tremendous advantage.

27. Oakland Athletics (Last Week's Rank: 25)

The Athletics have the worst offense in baseball, and it’s not even close. They rank second to last or worse in all three top offensive categories. There’s little to no hope for this team right now.

26. Los Angeles Angels (Last Week's Rank: 27)

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – JUNE 02: A Lou Gehrig Day patch is seen on the jersey of Mike Trout #27 of the Los Angeles Angels during the second inning of game one a doubleheader against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium on June 02, 2022 in New York City. (Photo by Dustin Satloff/Getty Images)

This was the best week for the Angels in a very long time. They finally put together multiple wins and should get back Mike Trout in the upcoming days. So, the sun is shining slightly brighter in Los Angeles this week.

25. New York Mets (Last Week's Rank: 26)

The Mets had a positive week after sweeping the Washington Nationals. But when things look bright in New York, it normally means the rain is coming.

24. Washington Nationals (Last Week's Rank: 17)

It’s hard to ignore the nation’s recent struggles. This team plays to the level of its competition and sweeps the Braves but will also get swept by the Mets. Consistency has been hard to find for the Nationals.

23. Arizona Diamondbacks (Last Week's Rank: 21)

The Arizona Diamondbacks are feeling the strength of their division. This week, they lost a tough series against the Padres after beating the Giants. This team is in an excellent position to return to the playoff race.

22. Pittsburgh Pirates (Last Week's Rank: 23)

The Pirates went 4-6 this week thanks to their pitching staff putting up three shutouts. Shutting teams out is one way to turn your season around when your offense is struggling.

21. Houston Astros (Last Week's Rank: 22)

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON – MAY 06: The MLB debut patch is seen on the jersey of J.P. France #68 of the Houston Astros during the first inning against the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park on May 06, 2023 in Seattle, Washington. (Photo by Steph Chambers/Getty Images)

The Astros had a good week, going 4-2 and picking up two series wins. However, they still sit six games below .500 and will need to continue this momentum to get back in the playoff race.

20. Tampa Bay Rays (Last Week's Rank: 18)

The Tampa Bay Rays are another MLB team that felt the power of their division this week as they faced the Orioles for the second series in two weeks. They are struggling to win in their division, which has led to their struggle to remain over .500 this year.

19. Texas Rangers (Last Week's Rank: 12)

DETROIT, MICHIGAN – MAY 29: Corey Seager #5 of the Texas Rangers prepares to bat on the first inning with a red poppy on the left side of his jersey with “Lest We Forget” in honor of Memorial Day while playing the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park on May 29, 2023 in Detroit, Michigan. Don’t throw in the towel yet on the Rangers, but they aren’t the same team as last season. Can they make a last-season push? Of course, but they’re currently not playing like a playoff-caliber team.

18. Chicago Cubs (Last Week's Rank: 15)

CINCINNATI, OHIO – JULY 04: A detailed view of the Independence Day patch on Anthony Rizzo #44 of the Chicago Cubs jersey as he walks off the field in the first inning during their game against the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park on July 04, 2021 in Cincinnati, Ohio. I can only label the Chicago Cubs one way so far: Frauds. May was a horrible month for this MLB team.

17. San Francisco Giants (Last Week's Rank: 19)

HOUSTON, TEXAS – MAY 02: A jersey detail of the San Francisco Giants prior to the game between the Houston Astros and San Francisco Giants at Minute Maid Park on May 02, 2023 in Houston, Texas. (Photo by Logan Riely/Getty Images)

If the season ended today, the Giants would be in the Playoffs. This team is scrappy and finds ways to win, but just like the Rays, their division will bury them if they let it.

16. Cincinnati Reds (Last Week's Rank: 24)

CINCINNATI, OHIO – JULY 04: A detailed view of the Independence Day patch on Joey Votto #19 of the Cincinnati Reds jersey as he walks off the field in the eighth inning during their game against the Chicago Cubs at Great American Ball Park on July 04, 2021 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Cincinnati Reds are currently on a seven-game win streak and fighting their way back to .500 on the season. Their offense is finally playing up to its potential, and the results are showing.

15. St. Louis Cardinals (Last Week's Rank: 14)

The veterans in St. Louis continue to get the job done. This week, they went 3-3, but they have kept losses from adding up and continue to move up the rankings.

14. Detroit Tigers (Last Week's Rank: 16)

ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA – SEPTEMBER 15: A detailed view of the 21 patch on a jersey honoring Roberto Clemente Day during the game between the Los Angeles Angels and the Detroit Tigers at Angel Stadium of Anaheim on September 15, 2023 in Anaheim, California. (Photo by Katelyn Mulcahy/Getty Images)

The Tigers sit just one game below .500 but ten games back in the AL Central. It will be a tough season to contend in their division with so much competition, but a few trades can change their season.

13. Toronto Blue Jays (Last Week's Rank: 20)

HOUSTON, TEXAS – APRIL 17: A detail of the Toronto Blue Jays jersey during the game against the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park on April 17, 2023 in Houston, Texas. (Photo by Logan Riely/Getty Images)

The Blue Jays are still fighting to win this season and are holding on to their stars through the trade deadline. Like many other MLB teams, it’s tough to compete in their division with the Orioles and Yankees, but they are in the middle of the wild card race.

12. Boston Red Sox (Last Week's Rank: 13)

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – MAY 01: A detailed view of a Boston Red Sox jersey and cross necklace is seen at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on May 01, 2022 in Baltimore, Maryland. (Photo by Patrick Smith/Getty Images)

The Boston Red Sox started the season strong but have not seemed like themselves lately. This team is highly reliant on their pitching staff and needs help to win with their offense.

11. Minnesota Twins (Last Week's Rank: 11)

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – MAY 14: A view of a pink ribbon patch on the jersey worn by Carlos Correa #4 of the Minnesota Twins against the Chicago Cubs in the second inning at Target Field on May 14, 2023 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. (Photo by David Berding/Getty Images)

The Twins went 1-5 this week and currently sit third in their division. Minnesota is having a good year but has yet to play well in the last few weeks.

10. Atlanta Braves (Last Week's Rank: 8)

ATLANTA, GA РMAY 07: The jersey and chain of Ronald Acu̱a Jr. #13 of the Atlanta Braves are seen during a postgame interview after a 3-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers at Truist Park on May 7, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia. (Photo by Casey Sykes/Getty Images)

The Atlanta Braves have struggled without former MVP Ronald Acuna. They lost three games to the Nationals this week and aren’t the same without their biggest star.

9. Seattle Mariners (Last Week's Rank: 10)

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON – MAY 31: A detail of the All-Star Game logo patch is seen on the jersey of Ty France #23 of the Seattle Mariners during the eighth inning against the New York Yankees at T-Mobile Park on May 31, 2023 in Seattle, Washington. (Photo by Steph Chambers/Getty Images)

Seattle split the week, going 3-3, but they have an obvious weakness that needs to be addressed. Their lineup doesn’t have enough. They get production from the top and continue to struggle at the bottom.

8. Milwaukee Brewers (Last Week's Rank: 6)

PHOENIX, ARIZONA – FEBRUARY 22: A detail of a Milwaukee Brewers jersey during Photo Day at American Family Fields of Phoenix on February 22, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona. (Photo by Michael Reaves/Getty Images)

The Milwaukee Brewers continue to pick up wins, but they’re blessed to play in such a weak division. They’re the only team above .500 in the NL Central and continue to lose series to top teams.

7. San Diego Padres (Last Week's Rank: 9)

CINCINNATI, OHIO – JUNE 29: A detailed view of the jersey and necklace of Fernando Tatis Jr. #23 of the San Diego Padres as he walks off the field at the end of the third inning during their game against the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park on June 29, 2021 in Cincinnati, Ohio. (Photo by Emilee Chinn/Getty Images)

The Padres had a tough week and are back below .500, but there’s no doubt about their potential. This team has talented hitters from top to bottom and can compete with anyone.

6. Kansas City Royals (Last Week's Rank: 7)

MIAMI, FL – SEPTEMBER 07: A detailed view of the gold ribbon worn on the Kansas City Royals jersey in support of the fight against childhood cancer during the game between the Kansas City Royals and Miami Marlins at Marlins Park on September 7, 2019 in Miami, Florida. The Royals have been extremely impressive this season. Kansas City has multiple All-Stars in Salvador Perez and Bobby Whitt Jr., and they are at the top of the Wild Card race behind Baltimore.

5. Cleveland Guardians (Last Week's Rank: 5)

GOODYEAR, ARIZONA – MARCH 22: A detail view of the logo on the jersey worn by Bobby Bradley #44 of the Cleveland Guardians poses during Photo Day at Goodyear Ballpark on March 22, 2022 in Goodyear, Arizona. (Photo by Chris Coduto/Getty Images)

The Cleveland Guardians currently rank 6th in runs per game, which has given them the 3rd best record in the MLB. If they keep playing like this, they will prove how good they are in the playoffs.

4. New York Yankees (Last Week's Rank: 2)

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – JUNE 02: Detail of a jersey patch worn by DJ LeMahieu #26 of the New York Yankees for Lou Gehrig Day during the first inning of Game Two of a doubleheader against the Los Angeles Angels at Yankee Stadium on June 02, 2022 in the Bronx borough of New York City. The Yankees are a great MLB team, but they are one injury away from struggling. This team is very top-heavy, and they feel unbeatable at times, but this week without Soto, it felt like the same old New York.

3. Baltimore Orioles (Last Week's Rank: 3)

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – JUNE 02: A patch honoring ALS Lou Gehrig Day is shown on the jersey of pitcher Matt Harvey #32 of the Baltimore Orioles before the start of the Orioles and Minnesota Twins game at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on June 02, 2021 in Baltimore, Maryland. The Baltimore Orioles handle business when they need to. This week, they went 5-2 against divisional opponents Tampa Bay and Toronto.

2. Los Angeles Dodgers (Last Week's Rank: 3)

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – JUNE 02: A detailed view of the jersey of Tony Gonsolin #26 of the Los Angeles Dodgers for Lou Gehrig Day during the first inning against the New York Mets at Dodger Stadium on June 02, 2022 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Katelyn Mulcahy/Getty Images)

The Dodgers picked up a huge series win against the Yankees this week. They play their best against the best, and that’s why they’re second in this week’s rankings.

1. Philadelphia Phillies (Last Week's Rank: 1)

PHILADELPHIA, PA – JULY 03: A view of the front of the special edition 4th of July jersey worn by Maikel Franco #7 of the Philadelphia Phillies during a game against the Baltimore Orioles at Citizens Bank Park on July 3, 2018 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Phillies continue to show they’re the best team in the league. They are getting tremendous performances from their offense and defense, which leads to win after win.
