Donald Trump Mispronounces Former UFC Dual Division Champ’s Name On Stage At Las Vegas Rally
Donald Trump has deep links with mispronouncing names. While names can be tricky to pronounce, Trump’s recent slip-up involving an MMA star leaves fans in a frenzy. Recently, Henry Cejudo was in attendance at a rally in Las Vegas. The former president fumbled over Cejudo’s name while inviting him on stage, creating an awkward moment.
Notably, Trump has a strong history of involvement with MMA, particularly the UFC, and has cultivated good relationships with numerous fighters. At a recent rally, he called in the former UFC multi-division champion ‘Triple C’ to the stage. However, before Cejudo could step up, Trump had an “oops” moment when he couldn’t pronounce Cejudo’s name several times.
“He won the Olympic gold medal… and was the UFC champion numerous times, I’d say. I wonder if I could take him, I’m a little larger than him. I wonder if I could take him in a fight,” said Dana White before calling out Henry Cejudo on stage.
Despite the mispronunciation, ‘Triple C’ praised the former president for his good work. The 37-year-old revealed that he named his daughter ‘America’ out of his love for the United States. However, Cejudo hasn’t been as kind to everyone. Recently, he mocked Sean O’Malley for his losing performance at UFC 306.

The former multi-division champion recently seized the moment to mock O’Malley following his recent defeat to Merab Dvalishvili. ‘Triple C’ ridiculed ‘Suga’ for his previous claims of becoming the next Conor McGregor. Taking to X, Cejudo wrote:
“Hey O’Methyl…You wanted to be the next Conor McGregor – well now you are. Neither of you bums can defend a takedown. I’m teaching “Wrestling for Cokeheads” at 8 AM. See you in the morning. @SugaSeanMMA.”
Since Dvalishvili has been victorious against both O’Malley and Cejudo, he might next set his sights on Umar Nurmagomedov. However, there is a strong chance fans could see ‘Triple C’ and O’Malley square off in their next respective bouts. Will Cejudo and O’Malley clash again inside the Octagon?
