Grading All 32 NFL Teams’ Starting Quarterbacks After Week 15 Games Of The 2024 Season
Week 15 was another great week for quarterbacks, as they did their part to lead their respective teams to a positive finish to the 2024 NFL season and an appearance in the upcoming 2024-25 playoffs. Some quarterbacks, on the other hand, struggled against opposing defenses and dealt with injuries, while other quarterbacks played as hard as they could and still couldn’t get the win. With three more weeks to go, it’s anyone’s game from here.
Here are the grades for all 32 NFL teams’ quarterbacks after week 15.
Which NFL quarterbacks have the highest grades after week 15?
Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray: C
Murray had an okay game for the Cardinals, as they won 30-17 against the New England Patriots. Murray completed 23 passes for 224 yards, threw no touchdowns or interceptions, rushed for 11 yards on five carries, and wasn’t sacked at all. Murray left the game with an apparent injury, which prompted Clayton Tune to stay in for a short time while Murray was being examined in the blue medical tent. Murray would return to the game and help the Redbirds earn the win.
Atlanta Falcons: Kirk Cousins: C
Cousins played an okay game for the Falcons, as they won 15-9 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Cousins completed 11 passes for 112 yards, threw a touchdown pass to Drake London against an interception, and rushed for no yardage on three carries but was sacked three times. Cousins played significantly better than he did in recent weeks and threw his first touchdown since week nine of the 2024 season.
Baltimore Ravens: Lamar Jackson: A-
Jackson played a very solid game for the Ravens, defeating the woeful New York Giants 35-14. The star NFL quarterback completed 21 passes for 290 yards, threw five touchdowns with no interceptions and rushed for 65 yards on six carries but was sacked twice and lost a fumble. Despite losing a fumble in the first quarter, Jackson carried the Ravens on his back, led them to a very dominating victory, and kept the team’s playoff ambitions alive.
Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen: A
Allen had an impressive game for the Bills, as they won 48-42 against the Detroit Lions in an all-time classic. Allen completed 23 passes for 362 yards, threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, rushed for 68 yards on 11 carries, scored two rushing touchdowns, and wasn’t sacked at all. It’s truly amazing to see what Allen does week in and week out as he continues building a case on why he’ll potentially win the NFL MVP award by the end of the regular season.
Carolina Panthers: Bryce Young: D
After performing well in the past couple of weeks, Bryce Young fell back down to earth as the Panthers lost 14-30 to the Dallas Cowboys. Young completed 19 passes for 219 yards, threw a touchdown to Jalen Coker against two costly interceptions, rushed for 12 yards on three carries, and scored a touchdown, but was sacked six times and lost two fumbles. A very painful performance Young would like to forget about as he and the Panthers get prepared to finish their last three games of the 2024 season.
Chicago Bears: Caleb Williams: C
Williams played a fairly decent game against the Minnesota Vikings, but he and the Bears lost 12-30 on Monday Night Football. Williams completed 18 passes for 191 yards, threw a touchdown to Keenan Allen with no interceptions, and rushed for three yards on four carries but was sacked twice and lost a fumble. Williams and company had trouble moving the ball at times against the Vikings’ formidable defense but managed to find Allen in the end zone in the fourth quarter for the team’s only touchdown. Williams needs a stronger offensive line in 2025 if the Bears want to have a shot at returning to the playoffs for the first time since the 2020 season.
Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow: B-
Burrow played a good game for the Bengals, winning 37-27 against the Tennessee Titans. Burrow completed 26 passes for 271 yards and threw three touchdowns against two interceptions, but was sacked once and lost a fumble. As great as Burrow has played all season, he needs to try and clean up the turnovers moving forward, if the Bengals want to make a run for the playoffs.

Cleveland Browns: Jameis Winston: F
Winston had a very rough afternoon for the Cleveland Browns, losing 7-21 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Winston completed 16 passes for 146 yards, threw three interceptions against no touchdowns, and rushed for negative two yards on two carries, but was sacked five times and was benched for Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who threw an interception of his own in the fourth quarter to end the game. To make matters worse for Winston, head coach Kevin Stefanski announced he hasn’t committed to starting Winston for week 16, even though he praised his work ethic before games.
Dallas Cowboys: Cooper Rush: A-
Rush played well for the Cowboys, as they won 30-14 against the Carolina Panthers. Rush completed 18 passes for 218 yards, threw three touchdowns with no interceptions, and rushed for five yards on four carries, but was sacked once, fumbled the ball twice, lost a fumble, and recovered another one with two minutes left in the game. Rush has what it takes to lead the Cowboys moving forward, as he keeps the team’s playoff ambitions alive… for now.
Denver Broncos: Bo Nix: C
Nix had an okay day for the Broncos, as he led the team to a 31-13 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. The rookie NFL quarterback completed 20 passes for 130 yards, threw three touchdowns against three interceptions and rushed for 23 yards on eight carries, but was sacked once. Nix may not have had any game-changing moments throughout the game, but he earned the win and finished the game on a positive note.
Detroit Lions: Jared Goff: A
Goff played an outstanding game for the Lions but couldn’t get the win in the team’s competitive 42-48 loss against the Buffalo Bills. Goff completed 38 passes for 494 yards, threw five touchdowns against no interceptions, and rushed for 13 yards on two carries but was sacked three times. Normally, throwing for nearly 500 yards would lead to a win, but the Lions’ defense couldn’t prevent Josh Allen from having a tremendous game of his own. Goff and the Lions will bounce back from this loss with three more weeks to go in the regular season.
Green Bay Packers: Jordan Love: A-
Love played a very nice game for the Packers, as they won 30-13 against the Seattle Seahawks. The well-known NFL quarterback completed 20 passes for 229 yards, threw two touchdowns to Romeo Doubs with no interceptions, rushed for four yards on a carry, and wasn’t sacked at all. Love performed his heart out as he showed the league why the Packers can be a dangerous wildcard playoff team, ready to make some noise against higher-seeded teams, including the one-seeded teams who earn a playoff bye week.
Houston Texans: C.J. Stroud: C
Stroud played an okay game for the Texans, as they won 20-12 against the Miami Dolphins at home. Stroud completed 18 passes for 131 yards, threw two touchdowns to Nico Collins with no interceptions, and rushed for four yards on six attempts but was sacked four times and lost a fumble. Stroud and the Texans won out, thanks to taking advantage of short-yard plays, and won the AFC South as a result. However, Stroud and company have three more weeks to go before the playoffs begin and need to fix some struggles on offense if the team wants to make a serious playoff run.
Indianapolis Colts: Anthony Richardson: D-
Richardson had a brutal afternoon against the Denver Broncos’ defense in the team’s 13-31 loss on the road. Richardson completed 17 passes for 172 yards, threw two interceptions against no touchdowns, rushed for 46 yards on seven carries, and scored a rushing touchdown but was sacked twice. Richardson and the Colts struggled in the passing attack, as turnovers affected the offense throughout the game. Richardson and the Colts losing also affects their playoff chances, as their window for getting into the playoffs has gotten slimmer.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Mac Jones: C
Jones played an okay game for the Jaguars, but he and the team lost a close and tough game against the New York Jets in a 25-32 battle. Jones completed 31 passes for 294 yards, threw two touchdowns to Brian Thomas Jr. against two interceptions, and rushed for 29 yards on four carries but was sacked twice. Since taking over for his injured teammate Trevor Lawrence, Jones has held his own for the Jaguars in their painful 2024 season. Jones needs to avoid throwing turnovers for the team, which has three more weeks to go in the regular season.
Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes: B+
Mahomes played a very good game for the Chiefs, defeating the Cleveland Browns 21-7, but left the game with an ankle injury and is currently week-to-week. Mahomes completed 19 passes for 159 yards, threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, rushed for 14 yards on two carries, and wasn’t sacked at all. Mahomes had another good game, but his ankle injury should send shivers down the spines of all of Chiefs’ Kingdom if the team wants to potentially three-peat as Super Bowl champions.
Carson Wentz stepped in and threw two passes for 20 yards in the very end of the game. If the star quarterback is out long-term, Wentz has to step up for the remainder of the NFL regular season until Mahomes returns for the playoffs.
Las Vegas Raiders: Desmond Ridder: D
Ridder had a rough Monday night for the Raiders, as the team lost 9-15 against the Atlanta Falcons. Ridder completed 23 passes for 208 yards, threw a touchdown to Ameer Abdullah against two interceptions, and rushed for 28 yards on five carries but was sacked three times. Ridder may not be the best quarterback, but he’s the only option the Raiders have until the 2025 NFL season when the team can sign a new quarterback to the roster or draft someone in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Los Angeles Chargers: Justin Herbert: C+
Herbert played a fair matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he couldn’t get the job in the team’s 17-40 loss. Herbert completed 21 passes for 195 yards and threw two touchdowns against an interception but was sacked three times. Herbert’s performance was hindered due to the thigh bruise he sustained against the Kansas City Chiefs in week 14. Herbert and the Bolts need to rebound in the final three weeks of the regular season if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Los Angeles Rams: Matthew Stafford: C
Stafford had an okay night for the Rams, as they snagged the 12-6 win in a touchdown-less game. Stafford completed 16 passes for 160 yards, threw no touchdowns or interceptions, rushed for 18 yards on four carries, and wasn’t sacked at all. Stafford may not have thrown any touchdowns or interceptions, but his teammates Kyren Williams and Puka Nacua helped keep the offense going throughout the game.
Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa: D-
Tagovailoa had a rough Sunday afternoon for the Dolphins, as the team lost 12-20 against the Houston Texans. The well-known NFL quarterback completed 29 passes for 196 yards and threw a touchdown to Jonnu Smith against three costly interceptions but was sacked three times and lost a fumble. Tagovailoa needs to maintain better ball security moving forward, especially if the Dolphins want to make it to the playoffs.
Minnesota Vikings: Sam Darnold: B-
Darnold played an above-average game for the Vikings in their 30-12 victory over the Chicago Bears. Darnold completed 24 passes for 231 yards and threw a touchdown to Justin Jefferson against an interception but was sacked twice. Darnold held his own against the Vikings’ NFC North rivals and guided them to victory under the primetime lights.
New England Patriots: Drake Maye: C
Maye had an okay game for the Patriots but couldn’t get the job done in the team’s 17-30 loss against the Arizona Cardinals. Maye completed 19 passes for 202 yards, threw a touchdown to DeMario Douglas against an interception, rushed for 14 yards on four carries, and scored a rushing touchdown but was sacked twice. Maye would play a lot better if he had a more talented wide receiver to throw the ball to, as well as a more reliable running back to hand the ball off to.
New Orleans Saints: Spencer Rattler: B
Rattler played a decent game for the Saints, as the team attempted a comeback in the second half but fell short 19-20 due to a failed two-point conversion attempt in the final seconds of the game. Rattler completed 10 passes for 135 yards, threw a touchdown with no interceptions, and wasn’t sacked at all. Rattler helped the Saints rebound from being shut out after Jake Haener struggled in the first half, as he threw an interception and was sacked three times. If the Saints want to have a fighting chance of making the playoffs, Rattler is their best bet for the rest of the season.
New York Giants: Tim Boyle: D
Boyle had a rough afternoon for the G-Men, losing 14-35 against the Baltimore Ravens at home. Boyle completed 12 passes for 123 yards, threw a touchdown to Malik Nabers against an interception that ended the game for the Giants, and rushed for negative one yard on a carry but was sacked once. Boyle filled in for Tommy DeVito, who left the game with a concussion. The backup NFL quarterback did what he could for the Giants. With DeVito recovering from a concussion, Boyle will need to step up moving forward.
New York Jets: Aaron Rodgers: B+
Rodgers and the Jets played a good game and won 32-25 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Rodgers completed 16 passes for 289 yards, threw three touchdowns with no interceptions, and rushed for 45 yards on six carries but was sacked once. Rodgers and the Jets may have no playoffs to play for, but the Rodgers and Davante Adams connection is for real. And did wonders for Gang Green against the woeful Jaguars.
Philadelphia Eagles: Jalen Hurts: A-
Hurts played very well against the Pittsburgh Steelers and helped the Eagles win 27-13. Hurts completed 25 passes for 290 yards, threw two touchdowns with no interceptions, rushed for 45 yards on 15 carries, and scored a rushing touchdown but was sacked three times. Hurts did an incredible job leading the Eagles on the field against a very potent Steelers defense, as the Eagles emerged as the better football team in the Keystone State.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Russell Wilson: C
Wilson had an okay game for the Steelers in their 13-27 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles. Wilson completed 14 passes for 128 yards, threw a touchdown to Pat Freiermuth with no interceptions, and rushed for 13 yards on four carries but was sacked twice and lost a fumble. Wilson and company didn’t have that competitive spark they had against a very fierce Eagles’ defense coached by defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, but the team did secure a playoff spot due to the Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins losing to the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans, respectively.
San Francisco 49ers: Brock Purdy: D-
Brock Purdy and the 49ers had an abysmal Thursday night, losing 6-12 to the Los Angeles Rams in a touchdown-less game. Purdy completed 14 passes for 142 yards, threw an interception with no touchdowns, and rushed for three yards on a carry but was sacked three times. Purdy and the 49ers almost scored a touchdown in the third quarter, but Deebo Samuel dropped the pass, and the team had to settle for a field goal, which may have kept them from adding more insults to a brutal night.
Seattle Seahawks: Geno Smith: F
Smith had a brutal Sunday night, as he and the Seahawks lost 13-30 against the Green Bay Packers. Smith completed 15 passes for 149 yards, threw an interception with no touchdowns, and rushed for five yards on a carry, but was sacked three times and left the game with a knee injury in the third quarter, prompting Sam Howell to step in. Smith also dealt with an offensive line that struggled all game long. However, head coach Mike Macdonald said their star NFL quarterback should be able to practice for the team’s week 16 match-up against the Minnesota Vikings.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Baker Mayfield: B+
Mayfield played a very good game for the Bucs, as they won 40-17 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Mayfield completed 22 passes for 288 yards, threw four touchdowns against an interception, and rushed for 25 yards on two carries but was sacked once. Mayfield continues to lead the Bucs to impressive victories, as well as command full control of the NFC South… for now. If the Bucs continue winning out in the regular season, Mayfield could potentially lead them to a nice playoff run.
Tennessee Titans: Will Levis: F
Levis had an awful afternoon for the Titans, losing an ugly 27-37 match-up against the Cincinnati Bengals. Levis completed eight passes for 89 yards, threw three interceptions with no touchdowns, rushed for no yards on two carries, and was sacked once. Levis was benched after he threw his third interception in the third quarter for Mason Rudolph, who completed 21 passes for 209 yards, threw two touchdowns against an interception, and wasn’t sacked at all. Even though Rudolph outperformed Levis, it may be time for the Titans to ditch Levis and fix the offensive line in 2025.
Washington Commanders: Jayden Daniels: B
Daniels played a good game for the Commanders, as they won 20-19 in last-second fashion due to the Saints failing to connect on a two-point conversion attempt. Daniels completed 25 passes for 226 yards, threw two touchdowns to Terry McLaurin with no interceptions, and rushed for 66 yards on 11 carries but was sacked a whopping eight times. Daniels played well, but the offensive line needed to do a much better job protecting him from opposing defenses, especially if the Commanders want to reach the playoffs for the first time since the 2020 season.
