Instead, she’s facing something no young woman should ever have to deal with. The 21-year-old social media star recently revealed a frightening, ongoing stalking situation that has shaken her deeply.

In a video with over a million views, Dunne tearfully revealed disturbing encounters she’s faced, mostly at airports. She described how older men often follow and harass her, showing up precisely when she arrives and aggressively demanding autographs.

“I fear that I’m being stalked, and I don’t know what to do,” she said. “It’s gotten to the point that every single time I go to the airport there’s a group of at least 10 middle-aged men waiting for me, and they harass me.”

Dunne didn’t hold back as she described the bizarre and scary pattern. These men often hold stacks of magazine covers and photos, shouting her name and chasing her through security lines when she refuses to sign. “They will run after me down the TSA pre-check line and yell at me if I don’t give them my autograph,” she said. “It’s insane.”

Even more disturbing, Dunne suspects someone may be leaking her travel details. “It’s something with the airline, and it’s weird,” she said. “It needs to stop, because it’s scary for girls.”

Fans, family, and fellow athletes quickly rallied behind her. One commenter urged, “Get some security.” 

Another suggested, “Make a new airline account, they likely have your personal id number and can track when and where your flights are.” Her sister didn’t hold back, calling it “the scariest thing I’ve ever seen.”

Track and field star Gabby Thomas, who’s faced similar experiences, chimed in with support: “Girl!! So sad that because we’re good at what we do, people feel like they should have constant access to us and give us travel anxiety. Glad you’re speaking up too.”

Right now, Dunne isn’t just dealing with unwanted attention, she’s raising awareness about a problem that impacts many women in the public eye. Her courage in speaking out is resonating far beyond gymnastics circles.
