According to one legendary basketball coach, Donald Trump should get the Nobel Peace Prize.

Auburn Tigers men’s basketball head coach Bruce Pearl fired off a reminder to his followers after President Trump announced the U.S. military had struck three Iranian nuclear sites.

Pearl, who is also the chairman of the U.S. Israel Education Association and a college basketball coach, thanked God for protecting U.S. troops.

“Thank you God for your protection over our troops. We are not at war with Iran, we are at war with Iran’s military nuclear program,” Pearl wrote on X. “The President wants peace, now the ball is in the court of the Iranian leadership. Iran’s terrorist reach has been diminished but still present.”

Pearl was far from finished.

Bruce Pearl believes Donald Trump should get the Nobel Peace Prize for his handling of Israel and Iran.

The Auburn basketball coach has been very vocal on social media since the conflict started earlier this month.

“This is what a peace maker and the leader of the free world does,” Pearl posted on X.

“He steps in when both sides can’t agree, and he gives them an offer they can’t refuse. He should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. I pray that all sides can offer some grace and keep the peace.”

Trump, after the U.S. launched military strikes on Iran’s three major nuclear facilities, announced on Truth Social that Israel and Iran agreed to a ceasefire.

“CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED!” he wrote.

“Officially, Iran will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 12th Hour, Israel will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 24th Hour, an Official END to THE 12 DAY WAR will be saluted by the World,” Trump added.

Trump praised both countries for their “Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence” to end what he called “THE 12 DAY WAR.”

Unfortunately, things had changed by Tuesday.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday chastised Israel for accusing Iran of ceasefire violations and ordering new strikes, saying he was “not happy” with either country.

Trump said he did not want to see regime change in Iran and strongly criticized U.S. ally Israel, saying the nation needs “to calm down.”
