Following his success in fighting and Hollywood, Conor McGregor now seeks Ireland’s presidential office. He revealed these plans after encountering President Donald Trump on St. Patrick’s Day. Notable personalities like Elon Musk have endorsed his political journey, with Andrew Tate recently expressing support, strengthening McGregor’s campaign momentum.

Tate recently returned to Romania after spending time in Florida in February 2025. On X, he revealed that he has Irish roots through his grandfather and considers himself a quarter Irish. He also shared that if McGregor becomes president of Ireland, he plans to move there. He said, “My grandfather is from Limerick. I’m a quarter Irish. And if @TheNotoriousMMA becomes president that’s where I’m moving.

Meanwhile, just like he did with Trump, Tesla’s CEO became McGregor’s initial major supporter, stating the fighter would better represent citizens compared to traditional politicians. This backing from the billionaire entrepreneur provided McGregor’s unconventional presidential bid with international credibility and expanded his reach beyond typical political circles.
