Khamzat Chimaev has, without a doubt, become an unstoppable force, with fighters like Dricus Du Plessis and Robert Whittaker making sure his undefeated record survives. Meanwhile, ahead of his title fight at UFC 320, Merab Dvalishvili has shared what he believes it will take to beat Chimaev, showing just how hard it can be to face off against the up-and-coming fighter in the octagon.

Dvalishvili specifically stated that any opponent of Chimaev would need to be a very good jiu-jitsu practitioner and must keep that distance on their feet, as the longer you stood in front of him, the more danger you would be in. ‘The Machine’ would say he does not want to fight Chimaev himself, but he understands it will be a long and rough night in the cage for whoever does.

“I don’t want to fight Khamzat… but if you do, you have to know jiu-jitsu very well. And on the feet, you have to run away and keep the distance. It’s gonna be hard — good luck to whoever fights Khamzat next, it’s going to be a long night,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Bantamweight champion has set his sights on defeating Cory Sandhagen. The titleholder is focused on preparing for the matchup, aiming to continue his dominance in the division
