Shocking Weather Surfaces Out Of Nowhere In Cleveland Ahead Of Browns-Bengals Week 1 Game [VIDEO]

The Cleveland Browns will play their Week 1 opener against the neighboring Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon, but the conditions aren’t looking great ahead of the highly anticipated matchup.
The fixture is among the earlier ones taking place around the country. And, where weather is concerned, the league hasn’t gotten off to a great start, as Thursday’s curtain raiser between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys was suspended for an hour due to lightning.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler posted a video to Twitter/X on Sunday showing a heavy downpour, possibly hail, at the Huntington Bank Field.
“This was not in the forecast here in Cleveland,” Fowler wrote as the caption to the clip seen below.

The Cleveland Browns Aren’t Expected To Win This One, Though The Weather Will Be Okay By Kickoff

Several fans in the comments pointed out that the poor weather had actually been predicted, but it isn’t expected to affect the game as the sun will be back out for kickoff.
“It’ll be done in a couple hours. Sucks for tailgaters but won’t affect game,”

Meanwhile, the Bengals are coming into this game as 5.5-point favorites and have been given a 71 percent chance of winning this Week 1 matchup.
They will be led by quarterback Joe Burrow, who is coming off a season in which he threw for 4,918 passing yards and 43 touchdowns, while sidekick Ja’Marr Chase led the NFL with 1,708 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns in 2024.
