2025 NFL Trade Deadline: One Game-Changing Trade Proposal for All 32 Teams

Now, approximately a third of the way through the 2025 NFL season, we know which NFL teams will be buyers and sellers at the trade deadline.
With that, let’s dive into one blockbuster trade idea for all 32 teams before the Nov. 4 trade deadline.
What moves do each NFL team need to make before the trade deadline?
Arizona Cardinals: Send Calais Campbell To The Eagles

Campbell has already stated that 2025 will likely be his final NFL season. He’s still performing at a high level on a “mushy middle” Cardinals team, so it’d be nice if they did him right by letting Campbell pursue a Super Bowl elsewhere.
The Eagles’ defense has struggled to stop the run and generate consistent QB pressure this season. They should be happy to take on Campbell and give him one last chance to chase a ring before he retires, especially if he’d cost no more than a day-three pick.
Atlanta Falcons: Ship Kirk Cousins To The Raiders

The list of potential landing spots for Cousins has dwindled, but the Raiders look like a logical landing spot now.
The Raiders don’t feel like rebuilding after hiring Pete Carroll as the head coach. They can cut Geno Smith next year and save $8 million against the cap, so why not roll the dice on Kirk
Cousins and see if he can be the Raiders’ new QB1?
Baltimore Ravens: Take A Chance On Jameis Winston

The Ravens are built to win now, so it doesn’t make sense to punt on 2025 by rolling with Cooper Rush with Lamar Jackson sidelined. The Ravens need a short-term option behind center, so why not deal for Jameis Winston and see what he can do in an offense loaded with playmakers?
Hey, it’s better than Cooper Rush!
Buffalo Bills: Grab Riq Woolen

Woolen inexplicably hasn’t been the same NFL player since his 2022 rookie year, when he logged six interceptions en route to a Pro Bowl nod.
Woolen appears to have fallen out of favor with the Seahawks’ coaching staff, and the Bills are short on cornerback depth. Sean McDermott knows how to get the most out of his defensive backs, so Buffalo should roll the dice on Woolen and see if the big-bodied corner can improve their pass D for another playoff run.
Carolina Panthers: Acquire Kayvon Thibodeaux

The Panthers have a chance at winning the wide-open NFC South, especially with the Bucs nursing an onslaught of injuries to key players.
One thing Carolina needs is more pass-rushing help, and the Giants should be open to trading 2022 first-round pick Kayvon Thibodeaux. The Oregon is signed through 2026, so getting him for a third-rounder or two late-round picks should be enough to complete a deal.
Chicago Bears: Land Jeffery Simmons

The Bears suddenly look like a playoff contender after a sluggish 0-2 start. If they want to go all-in at the deadline, why not Titans star defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons?
Chicago’s front seven doesn’t offer much after Montez Sweat. Simmons is one of the NFL’s better interior defensive linemen who’d be a problem for the division rival Packers and Lions.
Cincinnati Bengals: Trade For Russell Wilson

We know the Bengals already traded for Joe Flacco, but we’d take Russell Wilson over the 40-year-old journeyman any day.
Wilson had one great outing for the Giants in Week 2, when he dropped 450 yards and two touchdowns against the Cowboys. It’s not unrealistic to think he could rediscover some of his old magic with Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Chase Brown as his main weapons.
May as well see what Russ can do for ya if he’s only going to cost a late-round pick.
Cleveland Browns: Trade Wyatt Teller To Chargers

The Browns are sure to host a fire sale, and pending free agent and standout guard Wyatt Teller should be high on their “selling” list.
The Chargers need offensive line help with Rashawn Slater done for the year and Joe Alt nursing an ankle injury. The Browns can gain an extra draft pick from a Bolts team that figures to be a heavy buyer at the NFL deadline.
Dallas Cowboys: Acquire Kyle Van Noy

The Cowboys’ offense has kept them in the playoff race. The D clearly misses Micah Parsons, but Jerry Jones will have plenty of attractive defense players to pick up from.
Baltimore is unlikely to retain Kyle Van Noy beyond this season, so the Cowboys should take advantage of the buyer’s market and pick up the ex-Patriots standout to bolster their defense for a playoff run.
Denver Broncos: Pick Up Rashid Shaheed

With the Saints in rebuilding mode, there should be few untouchables on their roster leading up to the NFL trade deadline.
Deep threat specialist and speedster Rashid Shaheed is off to a strong start on a lousy New Orleans squad and would surely elevate his game in a Sean Payton-coached offense. The Broncos are still looking for a No. 2 receiver to help Courtland Sutton, and Shaheed would add another element to the Payton and Bo Nix-led passing game.
Detroit Lions: Go All-In For Trey Hendrickson

Unless the Bengals turn it around quickly, they’ll be sellers at the trade deadline. And superstar defensive end Trey Hendrickson will be the cream of the crop in this year’s deadline.
The Lions would have to offer multiple draft picks, including a day-two selection, to get Hendrickson. But to pair him with Aidan Hutchinson? Worth it, especially if it’s going to boost your pass rush and Super Bowl odds.
Green Bay Packers: Reunite With Jaire Alexander

The Packers released the All-Pro corner in a cap-saving move, but his tenure in Baltimore has been a disaster.
Alexander’s injury history led to his release from the Pack, but there’s no reason to think he can’t come back and regain his star-like form on his old team. Why not get him back for a late-round pick and see if he can shore up the secondary?
Houston Texans: Trade For Joel Bitonio

The Texans won’t make a second-half push for an NFL playoff spot without upgrading the offensive line. With star guard Joel Bitonio a pending free agent, Cleveland will likely want to deal him to the highest bidder.
The Texans should offer a mid-round pick for the seven-time Pro Bowler, who would provide an immediate upgrade on their leaky offensive line.
Indianapolis Colts: Send Anthony Richardson To Steelers

With Daniel Jones enjoying a career revival in Indy, Richardson is expendable and in need of a fresh start.
The Steelers stand out as a logical landing spot for Richardson, since they’ll need a succession plan for Aaron Rodgers. Richardson can learn from the four-time MVP and get first dibs on the opportunity to take over as the starter in 2026.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Acquire Jaelan Phillips

With the Dolphins in top-five pick territory and unlikely to re-sign pending free agent Jaelan Phillips, the Jags should see if their in-state rivals are open for business.
The Jags are in contention for the AFC’s top seed and could use more pass-rushers to complement Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen. Phillips would be a valuable addition to a Jags team that’s entering a long-term championship window.
Kansas City Chiefs: Acquire Breece Hall

The Chiefs have been okay with above-average running backs in the Patrick Mahomes era. Given their issues in the passing game, this feels like a good time to upgrade with a Pro Bowl-caliber running back.
Breece Hall is having a superb season in his contract year on the lowly New York Jets. Surely, he’d put up even better numbers in a Mahomes-led offense. KC shouldn’t be afraid to offer multiple picks for Hall, knowing they can franchise tag or extend him anyway in the offseason.
Las Vegas Raiders: Trade Kenny Pickett To Rams

If Geno Smith doesn’t turn it around soon, the Raiders can always showcase Pickett to other teams or just go back to Aidan O’Connell. The 2022 first-round pick doesn’t factor into Vegas’ long-term plans, but we’d love to see him get a chance to develop behind a veteran NFL QB like Matt Stafford before taking on the reins.
Since Stafford is on a year-to-year basis, the Raiders can flip him to LA and see if he can eventually succeed the Super Bowl 56 winner.
Los Angeles Chargers: Land Haason Reddick

Reddick hasn’t made much of an impact on the Buccaneers, who have more than enough pass rushers for their own playoff push. The Bolts need more pass-rushing help for Khalil Mack and J.T. Tuimoloau, so they may as well bring in the ex-Eagles star to beef up the pass rush.
Los Angeles Rams: Trade For Roger McCreary

The Rams could use some extra cornerback depth, as evidenced by the defense’s struggles against top-flight offensive units in the NFL.
McCreary is having a strong contract year for the Titans, who have plenty of hot candidates to deal at the deadline. The Rams should add him to their arsenal of young defensive studs, with the chance to extend him if he fares well.
Miami Dolphins: Trade Matt Judon Back To Patriots

Judon had his best seasons in New England before a contract dispute led to his trade to Atlanta last year. The Dolphins haven’t gotten much out of Judon this year, so they might as well shed his contract and unload him to an interested party, which should be the Patriots if they decide to buy.
Minnesota Vikings: Roll The Dice On Mazi Smith

The Cowboys appear to be done with former first-round pick Mazi Smith, who’s been a colossal disappointment in Big D. The Vikings love loading up on defensive linemen and edge rushers, so why not see if defensive wiz Brian Flores can get the most out of Smith and turn him into a useful rotational piece?
New England Patriots: Bring Back Jakobi Meyers

Meyers requested a trade from the Raiders ahead of his contract year, but nothing ever materialized. With the Raiders slipping to the bottom of the AFC standings, the only option is to ship out Meyers at the NFL trade deadline.
Meyers got his career started in New England under the guidance of offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who’s already unlocking Drake Maye’s full potential. With the Pats emerging as playoff contenders, why not bring back Meyers and form a dynamic receiver tandem with Stefon Diggs?
New Orleans Saints: Trade Cameron Jordan To Broncos

The Saints have a lot of guys to trade at the deadline. They should do future Hall of Famer Cameron Jordan right and ship him to a Super Bowl contender at the tail-end of his career, and a reunion with Sean Payton in Denver would be a win-win for all parties.
New York Giants: Send Evan Neal To Steelers

The Giants obviously aren’t going to extend Neal, the former No. 7 pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, who’s been a mega disappointment.
A well-coached team like the Steelers could revive Neal’s career and use him as a rotational piece. Hey, the Giants are better off getting something for Neal rather than lose him for nothing.
New York Jets: Send Allen Lazard Back To Packers

It’s kind of amazing that the Jets have yet to accept that signing Allen Lazard was a mega mistake. Anyway, he was a good No. 2 receiver on the Packers and could immediately make an impact on the Jordan Love-led offense that’s without Jayden Reed.
Philadelphia Eagles: Trade For Mark Andrews

The Eagles aren’t getting much out of their passing game, with veteran tight end Dallas Goedert stepping up while AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith are enduring frustrating years.
Maybe the Eagles could use more two-tight-end sets to fix the passing game, and the Ravens will be willing to give away pending free agent Mark Andrews for pennies. Goedert and Andrews would immediately form the NFL’s best tight end duo.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Go All-In For Chris Olave

The Steelers look poised to run away with the AFC North, but it’s clear that Aaron Rodgers could use another playmaking weapon to complement DK Metcalf. With Olave under contract through 2026, the Steelers should offer two draft picks to New Orleans for the speedy wideout.
Suddenly, an offense with Rodgers, Metcalf, Olave, and Jaylen Warren looks Super Bowl-caliber.
San Francisco 49ers: Pick Up Bradley Chubb

The 49ers have asserted themselves as prime Super Bowl contenders despite an onslaught of injuries, but Nick Bosa’s season-ending ACL tear is especially a blow to Kyle Shanahan’s squad.
San Francisco needs more pass-rushing help, and the soon-to-be-rebuilding Dolphins will likely hold a fire sale at the NFL deadline. The 49ers should be able to get Chubb at a discount price because of his injury history, and a Chubb-Bosa-Mykel Williams pass rushing trio is something scary to build around long-term.
And in the short term, the 49ers would have their new lead go-to pass rusher with Bosa sidelined. Everybody wins!
Seattle Seahawks: Get David Njoku

Jaxson Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp have formed a dynamic 1-2 punch for Sam Darnold, but Seattle could definitely use extra depth in the passing game.
Browns tight end David Njoku has been productive on a lousy team for a while now, so he could hit another gear with Darnold throwing him the ball.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Acquire Eric Stokes

The Bucs’ pass defense has been a problem this year, and the trade market will be low on quality cornerbacks. But Raiders corner Eric Stokes is worth taking a flier on, especially with Tampa short on reliable corners outside of Jamel Dean.
Tennessee Titans: Send Calvin Ridley To Bills

Buffalo could use a legitimate No. 1 receiver to help Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir, who are better suited as No. 2 options anyway. Ridley might be willing to restructure his deal if it means getting moved to an NFL contender, and the Titans would probably love to clear the remaining two years of his contract to begin their rebuild.
Washington Commanders: Acquire Kyle Pitts

The Commanders aren’t getting much from Zach Ertz this year, but offseason pickup Deebo Samuel has proven to be the ideal No. 2 option to Terry McLaurin in the passing game.
With Pitts in his contract year, the Falcons should be willing to give away the immensely talented but underachieving tight end at a fair price. The Commanders should load up on offense again and make a move for Pitts to see if Jayden Daniels can finally unlock his potential.
