NFL Fans Are Seriously Worried About Jaxson Dart’s Health & Well-Being
If Jaxson Dart expects to have a long career, he might need to change his playing style.
Giants fans are awaiting news about their quarterback, who left New York’s loss to the Bears early with a concussion. Midway through the fourth quarter, he was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson completed a 41-yard pass to running back Devin Singletary, which helped New York extend its lead to 20-10. However, without Dart, the Giants ultimately lost the game after Bears quarterback Caleb Williams scored two touchdowns in the game’s final four minutes.
Losing is the least of the fan base’s problems right now.
Sunday marked the fourth time in 2025 that Jaxson Dart has been evaluated for a concussion, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. That is incredibly disturbing when you remember that he did not start the season and was given the job after the team benched Russell Wilson. Otherwise, that number could be much higher.
Late last month, Dart was watching as Cam Skattebo had to be carted off the field after he suffered a season-ending leg injury.

“Tough news for Jaxson Dart—4th concussion eval this season. With CTE risks rising per BU studies, his dual-threat career could be at risk. Hope he prioritizes health. Thoughts? one fan asked.

“I’m really concerned about Jaxson Dart’s health after reading this post. Four concussion evaluations in one season is alarming, and it’s tough to see him risking long-term damage just to keep playing. The Giants need to prioritize his safety over his aggressiveness on the field,” a second fan wrote.

“Fourth concussion evaluation of the season for Jaxson Dart? 😬 This is not a stat you want showing up in a quarterback’s report card. Health first, any push to play could be a disaster waiting to happen, a third fan stated.

“Once you get that first concussion, you are more prone to have more. I think it’s time for him to prioritize his health over the glory of the gridiron,” a fourth fan wrote.

Injuries have been the overall theme of the New York Giants’ 2025 season.
The New York Giants have already lost superstar wide receiver Malik Nabers after he suffered a horrific-looking knee injury.
Weeks later, Cam Skattebo was injured during the team’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles on the road.
Now, New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart has suffered yet another concussion that may keep him out for a week or so. Dart has been one of the few bright spots for the two-win Giants this season, but his playing style has led to many head injuries.
The rookie quarterback has led the team to both of its wins, completing 62.7 percent of his passes for 1,417 yards, 10 scores, and three interceptions. His feet are also a weapon as he has carried the ball 57 times for 317 yards and seven scores.
Dart has taken some hits along the way because of his aggressive running style, and he may need to dial it back before he becomes another cautionary tale.
