However, Pereira recently made a post calling out ‘Bones’ for his next fight. But the former heavyweight champion fired back with a bold reply.

Fans and all the MMA community are talking about only one thing: Jones vs. Pereira at the UFC White House card. ‘Poatan’ recently went to his tire shop where he used to work, and on a tire, he wrote “Jones is next.” But things might be getting serious now as ‘Bones’ recently responded to the Brazilian fighter’s callout post. In a recent video, the former heavyweight champion said:

“I’ve beat a lot of legends from your country. You’d be a good one to add to my list. Be careful what you wish for.”

Meanwhile, fans are definitely pumped to see this fight as it is a chess match, fans will see both wrestling and striking powers. Even some big stars in the community say that the Brazilian fighter has an advantage to dominate the fight.

UFC Heavyweight Star Says Alex Pereira Could Knock Out Jon Jones

Nothing has materialized between the Jones vs. Pereira fight, but fans and the MMA world are talking about the fight. And now, UFC heavyweight star Robelis Despaigne believes Pereira can knock out Jones in the matchup. Speaking to MMA Fighting, Despaigne said Pereira is basically a natural heavyweight and could cause serious problems if Jones makes a mistake:

“If Jon Jones makes a mistake, you know he can put him to sleep. Not easily, we know Jon Jones’ quality. It’s going to be a very anticipated fight, a big box-office fight because both of them have a big fan base and very strong numbers. It’ll be a very good fight.”

Jones is known for his strong chin and high fight IQ, but Pereira’s knockout power is just as dangerous. If this fight ever happens, it would be massive in terms of hype and numbers. Pereira has also been called out by Khamzat Chimaev, adding even more buzz around his future.
