Seattle Mariners Extend Colt Emerson
The Mariners want to make the playoffs again, and they started out by signing Colt Emerson after just a few days into the season. Emerson agreed to an eight-year, $95 million contract extension.

The MLB star’s deal also includes a ninth-year club option, a full no-trade clause, and escalators that can bring it north of $130 million. Mariners fans are thrilled with the recent signing.
Zack Wheeler Gets MLB Return Timeline
The Philadelphia Phillies will miss out on their ace for a long time after he was placed on the injured list due to a shoulder injury. Wheeler underwent thoracic outlet decompression surgery, and the latest news is that he’s recovering well.

The latest MLB update is that Wheeler will be out for at least another two weeks. It could take longer, but he’s surely not coming back before April 14. Without Wheeler, the Phillies’ rotation got hit pretty bad. Phillies fans and the club are eagerly waiting for his return.
