Stephen Curry Gives Confident Injury Update While Targeting “Normal Minutes” vs. Clippers
The 2025-26 NBA season is heating up, and fans are in for a treat as the regular season nears its conclusion. Mark your calendars for April 12, when the Golden State Warriors clash with the Los Angeles Clippers. In the meantime, the excitement is palpable as Stephen Curry offers a confident injury update while relaxing in the visiting locker room.
With ice on his ankle and a towel draped over his head, the 38-year-old veteran declared his intent to return to the court, aiming for “normal minutes” against the Clippers.
“As long as it’s not my knee. I can deal with ankles. I’ve been dealing with that forever. So that was the interesting part. My knee felt pretty good. Even better than last game.” Curry said (via Anthony Slater).

Curry missed two months due to a knee issue and made his much-anticipated return in a closely contested game against the Houston Rockets.
However, during a recent game against the Sacramento Kings, the all-time three-pointers leader rolled his right ankle within the first three minutes and had to limp to the locker room. Although he returned later in the game, concerns among Warriors fans persisted. During the interview, Curry reassured supporters by stating that his knee felt good.
Warriors Coach Steve Kerr Reassures Fans About Curry’s Ankle
Head coach Steve Kerr reassured Warriors fans about Stephen Curry’s recent ankle scare during a recent interview. He confirmed that Curry’s tweak isn’t a serious concern and plans to have him on the court this Sunday in Los Angeles, as Curry aims to find his rhythm.
“That’s why I took the time out and I was worried it was his knee. I just saw him limping and came over and he said, no, I’m fine. It’s just the ankle, I don’t know, he just tweaked it or something, but he’s fine.” Kerr said.
