Sports Legend’s Daughter Overcomes ‘Horrible, Crippling Disease’ To Achieve NFL Dream [PHOTOS]

Mark Carroll couldn’t be prouder of his daughter, Indianna, following the latest development in her cheerleading career.
Indianna is joining the Las Vegas Raiders cheerleading squad for the upcoming season.
The Australian has been a dancer for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in her native country for the past 10 years. She’s now NFL-bound.
Indianna announced the move via Instagram this week, sharing an Instagram Story captioned “Honey I’m home” along with a picture of the Raiderettes.
“G’day Raider Nation… 🇦🇺 I am officially a Las Vegas Raiderette 🖤,” she added in another post.
Carroll tried out for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in 2025 but didn’t make the cut. She has since fulfilled her dream of making an NFL team.
Mark Carrol Reacts To Indianna’s Announcement

Mark is extremely proud of his daughter. The National Rugby League icon took to IG himself to congratulate Indianna, sharing that she faced some incredible challenges, including endometriosis.
The disease causes severe pelvic pain, infertility, and chronic inflammation, affecting 10 percent of women of reproductive age.
“I couldn’t be prouder writing this about my beautiful daughter, Indianna. As a young child, her dream was always to cheer for an NFL side and I’m here to announce she has made the squad for the NFL Raiders,” Mark wrote in his post. “Looking back in years the adversity she has had to get through blows my mind.
“As a young girl to be crippled with the most horrible disease, endometriosis,” he continued. “And now to be on the big stage of America NFL played on TV to millions and millions of people each game. Look out team. My Girl Indianna is about to blow you away Australian Style.”
Indianna is only the fourth Australian to join an NFL cheerleading squad.
Perth native Faith Ward became the first Aussie Cowboys cheerleader last year. Two other Australians, Jinelle Esther and Angela Nicotera, have made the DCC roster.
Carroll hoped to follow in their footsteps, but will grace an NFL field in any case.
