The LSU Tigers had an up-and-down day on Saturday night that ended with a massive letdown.

Lane Kiffin was returning to the program he had built over the last few years and was looking to rub it in even more after leaving to coach LSU. Unfortunately for him, things started out terribly, and although they got better, they would end in a loss.

In the stands on this night were thousands of Ole Miss fans chanting several things to get under his skin. However, hundreds of LSU Tigers fans also made the trip.

Not all of them were able to finish out the game.

LSU Tigers Fans Punched and Cuffed in Oxford Stands

LSU Tigers fans were shown arguing with officers near the field suite railing, with phones held high and recording the action. One fan was already placed in handcuffs, but his buddy was not going quietly.

He began arguing and wrestling with a security guard. It would lead to the fan being punched, subdued, and eventually taken down as cops entered the stands from all directions. That Tigers fan would be thrown on the concrete and arrested over his actions.

Once he got up, you could see blood leaking from his forehead.

Tigers Fans Lost The Fight & The Game

No. 7 LSU suffered a devastating 32-24 loss to No. 8 Ole Miss on Saturday in Oxford.

The Tigers struggled mightily early on, falling into a deep 24-7 deficit by halftime. LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt battled back, passing for 281 yards and rushing for a touchdown. Consequently, the Tigers scored 17 unanswered points to tie the game late in the fourth quarter.

The Ole Miss offense quickly answered by driving 75 yards for the game-winning touchdown. LSU subsequently mounted a final drive, pushing all the way to the Rebels’ 6-yard line. Unfortunately, Leavitt’s fourth-down pass was tipped and intercepted in the end zone to seal the defeat.

After the tough loss, LSU head coach Lane Kiffin offered high praise for his former quarterback. It’s a bad taste in his mouth, but there is plenty of season left to ensure the team gets the chance to fight for a National Championship.
