BREAKING: Dallas Cowboys Sign Key Offensive Starter To A $91-Million Contract

The Dallas Cowboys are entering the start of the 2023 NFL season with one of their key offensive players locked up over the long term.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Cowboys have locked up right tackle Terence Steele on a five-year contract extension worth $86.8-million, with $50-million guaranteed and a max value of $91.8 if all incentives are met.

Steele is recovering from an ACL injury he suffered in December last season, but that hasn’t stopped Jerry Jones and company from doing whatever it takes to keep him in Big D.

He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Texas Tech. In his three seasons in the NFL (all with Dallas), he’s started in 40 contests. He’s expected to be a big part of a loaded Cowboys offensive line that also includes Tyron Smith, Tyler Smith, Tyler Biadasz and Zack Martin.

The Cowboys open up their season next week when the visit the rival New York Giants on Sunday Night Football.
