Fans Are Really Hating New College GameDay Feature That Debuted This Saturday (VIDEO + TWEETS)

College football fans are trashing the new College GameDay theme song following its debut this Saturday. 

Fans found out ESPN was set to make a change to the piece for Week 1 earlier in the offseason.

While the song, “Comin’ To Your City” remains unchanged, the singers have been, with Darius Rucker, Lainey Wilson, and The Cadillac Three replacing Big & Rich.

As mentioned above, the new version of the track dropped this Saturday morning.

The iteration featuring Big & Rich was the College GameDay theme song for 16 years and instantly put you in front of the television in your head once you heard it, no matter where you were or what you were doing.

ESPN breaking things off with them is as confusing as it is a big mistake. It will be a long way back for them now as there will be no getting used to this new one.
