NFL Fans Are Convinced The League Is ‘RIGGING’ Games For Taylor Swift
The Chiefs’ showdown with the Jets looked like a potentially lopsided game, but Taylor Swift’s presence was a huge draw for many fans. Something about her presence and the league going all in on showing her has fans thinking something sinister is happening behind the scenes.
Something about Sunday Night Football rubbed fans the wrong way.
A pivotal penalty against New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner had head coach Robert Saleh irate as the team fell to the Kansas City Chiefs, 23-20.
On 3rd-and-20 with less than five minutes to go, Patrick Mahomes’ pass was intercepted and it appeared New York had some life down three points. Unfortunately, the Chiefs were given new life as a penalty flag was thrown and Garnder was called for holding on Justin Watson. The penalty extended the drive for the second time.
There was also another play where Mahomes scrambled earlier in the drive on 3rd-and-23 and a penalty was called on Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley for illegal contact. What wasn’t called was that Juwaan Taylor may have gotten away with a holding call.
As the Chiefs iced the game, Saleh became furious and was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct.
The way the game ended has fans thinking the league may be rigging the game for the Chiefs to win because Taylor Swift was in the house cheering for them.
The Jets, who erased a 17-0 deficit, thought they had a chance to tie or win and it was taken from them.
Jets quarterback Zach Wilson took the blame for the loss, particularly because he lost a fumbled snap on New York’s final drive. He completed a career-high 28 passes on 39 attempts for 245 yards and two touchdowns.
Just know fans will be watching even more intently if Swift shows up to another game.
