A Chiefs fan wearing defensive end George Karlaftis’ jersey got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend inside Frankfurt Stadium, also known as Waldstadion and Deutsche Bank Park.
The woman could be seen crying as she said yes, but then something weird happened.
The guy stood up and made a gesture that refs do when a WR catches a ball and then instead of embracing his soon-to-be wife, he decided to hug the Chiefs’ mascot.
The Chiefs went into halftime up 21-0 on the Dolphins before the road team finally scored a touchdown in the third quarter.
