The Tampa Bay Buccaneers punched their ticket to the divisional round of the playoffs with a convincing win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night. But fans might have to think twice about getting their own tickets given how high they are for Tampa’s game against Detroit.

The Lions are set to host another playoff game at Ford Field amid what’s been a remarkable run and, per SeatGeek, the cheapest ticket was $723 (inclusive of fees) at the time of writing.

Other tickets are going for $1500 while premium seats are going for over $17,000.

The Lions are demanding quite an investment given their recent change in fortunes. Season ticket holders have already been told that it will cost them significantly more to attend home games next season and the importance of the postseason run isn’t lost on the team either as they’re milking it for all it’s worth.

To be fair, demand is high in Detroit right now, and from such a standpoint, it’s easy to see why the team is charging fans top dollar to come watch them play.

As to whether fans would be willing to do so is another thing altogether. However, given the lack of success since the 90’s, we reckon they’ll probably have no problem paying astronomical fees.
