Tom Brady running.

Tom Brady proved he’s in the best shape of his life with his latest accomplishment.

While some players showcase their elite speed at the NFL combine, others take a little while to complete the 40-yard dash.

Take the 40-yard dash. Tom Brady’s 5.28-second run in 2000 stood as the slowest run by a quarterback at the combine for more than a decade.

He wanted a do-over.

The former legendary New England Patriots quarterback redeemed himself in huge way when the now 46-year-old Brady clocked in at 5.18 on the 40-yard dash.

Brady spent his first 20 seasons with the New England Patriots and was a central contributor to the franchise’s dynasty from 2001 to 2019. Brady led the Patriots to 17 division titles (including 11 consecutive from 2009 to 2019), 13 AFC Championship Games (including eight consecutive from 2011 to 2018), nine Super Bowl appearances, and six Super Bowl titles.

He would head to the Tampa Bay Bucs and win a record seventh Super Bowl in his first season with the team. Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl winner who ends his career as the NFL’s all-time leader in passing yards (89,214), and touchdown passes (649).

Despite rumors last offseason, he remained true to his word and did not come back out of retirement to play again.
