Former Oregon Ducks quarterback Bo Nix has been tipped to replace a former Rookie of the Year on an NFC team this year.

There’s not much talk surrounding Nix ahead of the upcoming NFL Draft as Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, and Michael Penix Jr. are expected to be the first four QBs off the board. However, CBS Sports’ Chris Trapasso has listed Nix as the fourth signal-caller in his latest mock draft.

Trapasso has predicted that Nix will be picked by the Arizona Cardinals at No. 27 overall and eventually land the starting job.

“The Cardinals aren’t ready to move on from Kyler Murray, but Nix represents good value here if for nothing else beyond the fact that he’s a quarterback,” he wrote.

Nix is coming off a stellar season for Oregon, having registered 4,508 passing yards for 45 touchdowns and three interceptions, completing 77 percent of his passes. He also rushed for an additional six scores.
