Being the boss’s favorite may not be important for a successful career! That’s the case with Jon Jones and Dana White. While both the MMA fighter and UFC President had remarkable careers, they did not have a good work relationship.

In a recent episode of The Big Podcast, White acknowledged having a not-so-good relationship with Jones. However, that doesn’t mean he does not feel that the UFC heavyweight fighter isn’t the best combat fighter of all time.

“Jon Jones and I have not had a great relationship as far as business goes. That doesn’t twist my judgment. He is the greatest combat fighter of all time. Period. End of story. There’s not even an argument,” White said.

White’s statement proves his unbiased nature in the business. Although he does not share a good relationship with Jones, he does let the 36-year-old fighter get the best bouts in the UFC octagon.

Dana White Shares An Interesting Fact About Jon Jones

“Jon Jones is the nastiest dude ever in the history,” that’s how the UFC President described the UFC Heavyweight fighter. When asked if there was a possibility of ‘Bones’ fighting Alex Pereira in the octagon, White explained the 36-year-old’s nature with an interesting story.

White described Jones as having “a dark side” in him. His words indeed justify because whenever the 36-year-old steps foot into the UFC octagon, he is in carnage mode. Recalling an incident from the COVID period, White said,

“When the stuff was going on during Covid. There was riots. People were spray painting down. Jon Jones like went into town and was taking spray cans out of people’s hands and slapping them and saying, ‘Go home you’re not up my town’.”

Moreover, the UFC president did hint at Jon Jones fighting Alex Pereira sooner or later, but there isn’t any official update on it. If that match ever happens, it will surely be a delight for fans to watch!
