LaVar Ball hasn’t been as loud as he once was in previous years.

It appears we now know why that is.

LaVar has become a prominent figure in the basketball world since his oldest son was drafted into the NBA in 2017.

The patriarch of the Ball basketball dynasty, which includes his sons LaMelo, Lonzo, and LiAngelo, has now had a major change after he reportedly underwent surgery to have one of his feet amputated after suffering a serious medical issue.

TMZ reported the news.

The outlet reported that LaVar “underwent a recent procedure to have his right foot removed” but added that “despite it all, he is in great spirits and doing well.”

The outlet would post a picture of LaVar Ball smiling while in a wheelchair at an unknown medical facility. His amputated limb was wrapped in gauze.

LaVar Ball Has Three Successful Sons

LaVar made a name for himself, his three sons, and his Big Baller Brand, a footwear company that designs shoes specifically for basketball players.

Lonzo Ball, the oldest, may have had issues with his health in the past few years, but he is back and still playing well in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls.

Lonzo Ball was selected 2nd overall by the Los Angeles Lakers.

LaMelo is a star with the Charlotte Hornets after he was selected with the third overall pick of the 2020 NBA draft.

LiAngelo Ball couldn’t quite make it in the NBA aside from the G-League, but he has now started a music career that has produced a mega hit.

LaVar Ball is one of the more successful fathers in recent history.
