Jon Jones has remained undefeated by decision or knockout throughout his legendary career, dominating the sport for nearly two decades. As the reigning heavyweight champion, he’s delivered countless defining moments inside the Octagon. But now, former champion Georges St-Pierre sees a potential shift. GSP believes Tom Aspinall might finally crack the code. St-Pierre points to Aspinall’s speed, precision, and composure as key advantages.

Calling Jones arguably the greatest of all time, GSP suggested that Aspinall’s skill set, athleticism, and well-rounded game could be the answer fans have been searching for. With Jones remaining undefeated and dominant across generations, the idea of Aspinall being a legitimate threat adds serious intrigue to the heavyweight division and fuels anticipation for a potential showdown.

“I would love to watch Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall. Jon Jones is probably the best to ever do it, and Tom Aspinall may be the solution to crack the code to the question that everybody wants to find out,” he said.

Indeed, not just Georges St-Pierre but many in the MMA world believe Tom Aspinall has what it takes to beat Jon Jones. ‘Bones’ choosing not to face Aspinall has only fueled the fire. Critics and fans have started calling him out, accusing the champ of ducking a real challenge. And Daniel Cormier has even urged UFC to strip him.

DC believes it’s time to strip Jon Jones of the title, pointing out that Jones does not intend to fight Aspinall. Cormier suggests that the UFC should move on and activate the division, and he hopes that Jones eventually regains his motivation. If that happens, the UFC can match him against Aspinall directly, leaving no room for other options. Dana White has acknowledged the growing uncertainty around Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall.

He stated that if there’s no clear update, the UFC will have to move forward and take necessary action. With the division in limbo and Aspinall ready to compete, the pressure continues to mount. Fans and fighters alike are demanding resolution, and the UFC may have no choice but to make a bold decision to keep the heavyweight title picture active.
