Jack Della Maddalena Makes Cryptic Remark On Daniel Cormier’s Commentary

In movies and shows, besides the visuals, the soundtrack makes the experience stronger. That’s why musicians like Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman play such an important role in big films. In the same way, in sports, commentary acts like the soundtrack. To make the experience rich, the commentary has to be on point. However, it seems Jack Della Maddalena isn’t too happy with Daniel Cormier right now.
On Instagram, UFC champion Maddalena voiced his frustration with Cormier’s presence on commentary. He suggested that the only way the broadcaster Kayo could make up for it would be by adding an option to mute Cormier during fights.
He said, “There should be a button to turn off DC commentary during fights.”

Cormier often faces criticism for showing bias toward certain fighters, while many also feel his voice can become overwhelming during broadcasts. He’s not the only one getting criticism, as Joe Rogan was also called out for sounding too repetitive. Meanwhile, Jon Anik has avoided backlash and gained respect for staying professional.
Daniel Cormier Slams Judges For Controversial Decision At UFC 319

Karine Silva and Dione Barbosa fought a close three-round battle. While Barbosa won the first round, Silva came back in the second and finished stronger in the third. Even though many thought Barbosa had done enough, the judges gave Silva a unanimous decision, which upset the crowd, including the commentators. Daniel Cormier criticized the judging after the fight.
He said, “This has to stop happening. These judges can’t keep doing stuff like this time and time again. Especially when these fighters are getting a win or a show bonus.”
Judging issues aren’t new, as scorecards have been debated for years. It will be interesting to see how Dana White and his team handle this problem in the future.
