Merab Dvalishvili will face Cory Sandhagen at UFC 320 for the UFC bantamweight championship. Other stars, such as Conor McGregor and Jon Jones, are eying the White House card, and so is the Georgian fighter. While Dvalishvili is still concentrating on maximising this opportunity and is willing to pour everything into the UFC 320 fight, he also takes pride in being able to showcase and represent the men’s division in what he believes to be a historic moment.

‘The Machine’ reminisced about his own chance at the Sphere, stating he was “lucky” to have that honor and believes that even as the first fight of the prelims, he would have been happy. Dvalishvili mentioned that he is also the only American champion in the men’s division, and he displayed great pride in that statement.

“I was lucky to fight at the Sphere, and to fight at the White House will be an honor for me. Even if I’m the first fight on the prelims, I’ll be happy; I have no problem. So far, I’m the only American champion in the men’s division,” he said.

Both Dvalishvili and his past opponent, Sean O’Malley, are clamouring for an opportunity to fight at the White House. O’Malley is not looking for the champion; he wants a fight with Sandhagen.

After Conor McGregor and Jon Jones, Sean O’Malley wants a title fight against Sandhagen at the UFC White House event. He is excited to be on the card. The bout is interesting since Sandhagen will fight Merab Dvalishvili for the title at UFC 320, and O’Malley will return in December. If both Sandhagen and O’Malley win their fights, we could see a title matchup down the road.

Dvalishvili wants to fight Petr Yan after UFC 320. The Georgian fighter seems intent on scheduling that fight so that he can possibly schedule a rematch and make a statement in the men’s division.
