The last thing the Los Angeles Rams needed was for star wideout Puka Nacua to go down with an injury.

On Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, a game in which fans thought Tom Brady was “High Out Of His Mind,” Nacua sustained a foot injury in the second quarter. After leaping to try and make a catch, he struggled to get up and walk a few steps before collapsing to the ground.

The Los Angeles Rams receiver clutched his lower left leg while in obvious pain. He eventually limped off the field with two trainers’ aid and immediately went to the locker room.

Somehow, Puka Nacua returned to Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens in the third quarter.

Unfortunately for Puka, who had blood dripping from his face last month against the Texans, the news on his injury would not be good.

Puka Nacua suffered an ankle injury in Los Angeles’ 17-3 win against the Ravens.

Head coach Sean McVay said he was uncertain if the star wide receiver would be able to play next week in London against the Jaguars.

Now we know for sure he will be unavailable.

According to Ian Rapoport, Nacua is expected to miss time with an ankle sprain that he suffered in his team’s Week 6 win against the Baltimore Ravens.

A Pro Bowler as a rookie in 2023, Nacua is in the midst of a breakout season. He leads the NFL with 54 receptions and receiving yards, and now the team will have to figure out life without him for the time being.

Puka Nacua also has three total touchdowns through five games.

In the meantime, the team will have to lean on first-year Ram Davante Adams.
