Adrian Peterson Has Been In A lot of Trouble Off The Field

Former NFL running back Adrian Peterson is facing multiple charges following his arrest early Sunday in Sugar Land, Texas.
That is just one of many things he has had to deal with since retiring from the league.
This is the second time Peterson has been arrested for DWI in 2025. Back in April, he was arrested shortly after the Vikings Draft Night party when a police officer claimed they saw him going 83 in a 55 MPH zone.
In June, the running back was recorded exchanging blows with another male at a poker club. According to TMZ Sports, the incident occurred at a social club called JokerStars in Houston.
After failing to appear in court for child support cases, Adrian Peterson also had two warrants issued in his name in Texas late last year. Those warrants were eventually revoked, and both cases were resolved.
Unfortunately, despite making over $100 million playing pro football from 2007 to 2021, he has mounting debt.
In late 2016, he took a $5.2 million loan from a Pennsylvania lending company and promised to pay it back in five months at 12 percent interest. He never did, and now that the payment has since ballooned to over $12 million through interest.
