Caitlin Clark is remaining loyal to the WNBA.

Since making her name in college, everybody has wanted a piece of Clark.

Even the BIG3 wanted her to play for their league, offering more than the $5 million ahead of the 2024 WNBA Draft. The former Iowa star would have still been able to play in the WNBA had she accepted.

Two years into the WNBA, and now another league wants the services of Caitlin Clark.

Clark, who has turned down multiple offers to join Unrivaled, does not plan on playing for Project B.

Clark’s Indiana Fever teammate Sophie Cunningham has already joined.

She tried her best to recruit Clark, but she turned it down: “I tried to get her to play in this one,” Cunningham said, “But she was like, ‘No.'”

The new overseas startup league is clearly willing to dish out large sums of cash. The league is offering seven-figure contracts, according to a report from Front Office Sports.

“Other WNBA players have already signed deals to play in Project B,” multiple sources told Front Office Sports, the report stated.

“Those same sources said multiple stars are being offered seven-figure salaries starting at $2 million annually, with their earnings for multiyear deals reaching eight figures. In addition, players will receive equity in the league, similar to Unrivaled.”

The 2025 WNBA season was a tough one for Caitlin Clark. She was named the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year after a record-breaking rookie season. But in 2025, various injuries caused her to miss multiple games.

Clark didn’t miss a game during her four seasons at Iowa or her first season in the WNBA, when she won Rookie of the Year.

After missing 19 straight games with a groin injury, the Indiana Fever star announced that her 2025 season had come to an end.

Caitlin Clark turning down other leagues means she is prioritizing 100% health for the 2026 WNBA season. Her ultimate goal is to win a championship, if not multiple titles.

Without her, the Indiana Fever made a strong playoff run in 2025. They advanced as the 6th seed, beating Atlanta in the first round, and ultimately losing 3-2 to the #2 Las Vegas Aces in the next round.
