For the Steelers to have success, they need a healthy DK Metcalf.

Metcalf, who was acquired by the Steelers from the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick, doesn’t appear to be 100%.

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver helped his team win, but then he was rushed to the hospital.

Metcalf is flying back home on Monday.

This came after he went to a Baltimore-area hospital following their 27-22 win over the Ravens on Sunday.

Per Steelers senior director of communications Burt Lauten (h/t NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport), Metcalf remained in Baltimore overnight.

It was due to his experiencing stomach pains on the team’s plane before it took off.

The Steelers’ medical staff decided “out of an abundance of caution” to have DK Metcalf go to a hospital.

It was for an examination rather than flying with the team.

DK Metcalf had one of his best games of the season in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 14 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Metcalf had seven catches for 148 yards — both his best totals of the season — against the Ravens.

The No. 1 wide receiver even lined up on special teams to help cover a crucial punt late in the game.

With his help, the Steelers improved to 7-6 with the win and now lead the AFC North.

Aaron Rodgers has been caught chewing DK Metcalf out in the past, but it seems all is good now.

The Steelers, in particular, had a 31% chance of securing a postseason berth prior to Sunday’s showdown against the Ravens.

According to NFL.com senior director Ali Bhanpuri, the Steelers’ chances of making the postseason are now at 62%.
