The Los Angeles Lakers are looking sublime at the moment. With 16 wins and six losses, the purple and gold are sitting pretty at number three on the Western Conference table. However, despite the good work, the Lakers would like to go for some quality trade options to further strengthen their squad.

As recent leaks suggest that the Lakers will be pushing for a massive all-in trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo, the excitement is skyrocketing at the moment. However, in a recent development, Bleacher Report prepared a mock draft for all the NBA teams.

According to the report, the Lakers would be targeting the likes of Herb Jones, Dillon Brooks, and Robert Williams III. Now, the team is already looking pretty menacing. Thus, the inclusion of a two-way perimeter player in Jones or Brooks would benefit the team significantly.

Next up, the team would also want a big man to back the towering presence of DeAndre Ayton. And this is where the likes of Williams III come in. Surely, if the Lakers can manage all three of these names, then the team will be making a strong push for the championship this year. Meanwhile, as the trade rumors are swirling, the likes of LeBron James had a confident message to deliver.

For all these years, the Lakers’ outfit revolved around James. But once they roped in Doncic, the scenario changed drastically. With the retirement rumors going around, James had some significant back-and-forth with the Lakers’ front office.

Thankfully, now that the season is underway, King James is all set to work together with Doncic and co.

All I care about is winning. I’ve done everything in my career including winning. I want to continue that so I will very easily fit myself right on in at whatever capacity the team needs me to be in,” James said in the recent episode of The Mind The Game Podcast.

Thus, it can be said that the situation with the Lakers is looking rosy. Now, fans will be eager to see how far the team can go this year.
