Olivia Dunne’s Rejection Story Is Going Viral
Olivia Dunne has become a major figure in the entertainment industry in recent years. After delighting fans with her artistic gymnastics, she transitioned into a social media influencer and then an actress.
She will feature in the upcoming “Baywatch” reboot, set for release in 2027. She will join a cast that includes Brooks Nader and Shay Mitchell.
Before joining the FOX project, Dunne tried to get into an HBO series. She was rejected, not knowing she would get another shot later.

Before she joined the “Baywatch” cast, Olivia Dunne auditioned for an HBO series. During an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” she recalled auditioning for Season 4 of “The White Lotus.”
“So, actually, my first ever audition was in person. It was different because in gymnastics, usually you just go out there and perform on a 4-inch beam. But this, I have to talk and perform and play somebody else rather than myself. So, it was a completely different animal,” Dunne said. “I ended up not getting that one, which was probably a show that you would know. It was for White Lotus.”
She ended up auditioning for Baywatch and landed the role of Grace, a junior lifeguard.
