Red Sox Fan Dives In Dirty Water After Fenway Park Flooded On Friday Night (VIDEO)

Water gushed down the stairs at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts, as rain stopped play between the Red Sox and Mets on Friday night. There was no way this game was going to be able to play. The game started with a two-hour rain delay and was suspended in the bottom of the fourth inning with the Mets leading 4-3, according to MLB.com.
Footage recorded shows fans navigating a flooded staircase at the stadium on Friday night. Numerous fans posted videos on Twitter of what the scene was like at the ballpark when the game was stopped.
Justin Turner shared a video showing the flooded hallway between the Red Sox’ dugout and clubhouse. He wore trash bags over his legs in order to keep himself dry.
“I thought we could have played through it,” Turner wrote
One guy was even shown shirtless and diving into the nasty water.
Friday’s game was officially suspended. It’ll be resumed at 2:10 p.m. Saturday. The Mets hold a 4-3 lead in the fourth inning.
The Red Sox are currently 51-46 and in fourth place in the AFC East. Only the Yankees have a worst record than them in that division. It remains the only division in the league that has every team above .500.
The New York Mets are 45-51 and are in the fourth place in the NL East.
