NFL Fans Are Praying For Browns Wide Receiver Elijah Moore After Frightening Brain Injury

Resurgent Cleveland quarterback Joe Flacco threw for three touchdowns in a 37-20 NFL victory over the New York Jets on Thursday but his performance was not on everybody’s mind last night.

Cleveland Browns receiver Elijah Moore appeared to suffer a very serious injury Thursday night against the Jets. Moore caught a pass from quarterback Joe Flacco before being dragged down by New York linebacker C.J. Mosley.

Brown appeared to suffer a concussion and possible brain injury when he went into convulsions after a play.

The response was eerily similar to the one Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa also suffered after a concussion last year when his body went into a fencing position.

Praying for Elijah Moore and his family tonight.

Moore was later able to leave the field on his own power. He headed toward the medical tent, and later the locker room.

He was ruled out of the game with a head injury and did not return in the Browns’ 37-20 victory. He finished with five catches for 61 yards and a score.

Moore also suffered a concussion issue during his rookie season when he was playing for the Jets.

No statement has been made about Moore’s availability to the Browns moving ahead.
