Charissa Thompson knows how to get her fans going.
Charissa Thompson, a Fox Sports and Amazon Prime Video “Thursday Night Football” host, is going viral this week after she took to Instagram and posted an adorable photo.
The picture was a beach day with an unbelievable sunset where she could be seen alongside her boyfriend.
Thompson could be seen rocking a Chicago Blackhawks Clark Griswold white road jersey with some nice shoes to go alongside it. Thompson tagged her location at Santa Monica, California so we can only assume she was at the pier which is a popular tourist location.
Thompson is a prominent sports journalist who currently appears on Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime, and previously worked at ESPN.
The former sideline reporter was ripped to shreds earlier this year when she admitted she “would make up the report sometimes because, A, the coach wouldn’t come out at halftime or it was too late and I was like, I didn’t want to screw up the report, so I was like, “I’m just gonna make this up.’”
“No coach is gonna get mad if I say, ‘Hey, we need to stop hurting ourselves, we need to be better on third down, we need to stop turning the ball over and do a better job of getting off the field,’” she added. “Like, they’re not gonna correct me on that. I’m like it’s fine, I’ll just make up the report.”
She apologized for choosing “the wrong words” while making it clear she never attributed anything to a coach or a player falsely.
Luckily for her, the heat died down and nothing came of it.
