British professional boxer Anthony Joshua, also known as Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua, is the current heavyweight champion. Following the postponement of the AJ vs. Fury bout, Joshua is scheduled to face Francis Ngannou on 8th March and later the undefeated Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine in September 2024. Anthony Joshua’s net worth is $155 million as per reports.

From June 2016 to June 2019, he was the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO champion; he eventually lost those championships to Andy Ruiz Jr. However, Anthony later made demands for a rematch, and in December 2019, the fight took place in Saudi Arabia, when Anthony defeated Andy and won all the belts.

Joshua has won 23 fights in his professional boxing career, 21 of which came via knockout, and he has only lost one.

Anthony Joshua: Income, Investments and His Sponsors

Anthony Joshua is guaranteed purse money ranging from $10 to $25 million every bout. His victories, however, include $25 million from his first fight against Andy Ruiz Jr. and a purse money payment of between $50 and $60 million from his second rematch against the same opponent.

Anthony Joshua’s estimated net worth as of 2024 is $115 million, according to reports. Anthony has won over $36 million in matches. On the 2024 list of the highest-paid athletes worldwide, he came in at number 19. With Saul “Canelo” Alvarez as the richest boxer, Anthony Joshua comes in second.

Joshua receives enormous compensation from endorsements. Forbes estimates that he earns about $11 million from marketing and sponsorship agreements. Many major corporations, such as Hugo Boss, DAZN, Jaguar Land Rover, Beats Electronics, Sky Sports, Audemars Piguet, and Under Armour, are his partners and sponsors.

Joshua’s biggest sponsorship agreement was with DAZN, a streaming service, and Matchroom Boxing. It was a $1 billion contract that lasted eight years. He is also sponsored by Lynx and Axe for hygiene and beauty products as well as bulk powders for nutrition and health. 

The majority of Joshua’s investments are in real estate. Joshua has purchased business properties on Bond Street and Mayfair, the latter for an astounding £25 million. He also owns two residential properties in North London through his company 258 Investments, and he is rumoured to possess three properties in his hometown of Watford for £1.5 million.
