The NFL Players Association’s second annual club report cards on workplace conditions were released this week and there were some surprising grades as well as revelations.

The Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Jacksonville Jaguars were at the top of the overall rankings.

However, the Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots, Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Washington Commanders were at the bottom.

Within each individual team’s report card were notes for 11 categories, including grades on ownership, the head coach, travel, and facilities.

The Chargers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the only teams in the league that make players pay for daycare.

You read that correctly.

Los Angeles charges $75 for the first child and $50 for each additional child per family. To make matters worse, the daycare is off-site. The team received an F grade in the treatment of families.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers provide on-site daycare but they charge $90 per child for daycare on gameday. They still received an F.

The remainder of the F-grade teams — the Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots, Cincinnati Bengals, and Washington Commanders — don’t offer any daycare.

There were 1,706 players who participated in this between Aug. 26 and Nov. 16.

The Chargers hold the fifth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft after they finished the 2023 season 5-12.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers finished 9-8 this past season winning the NFC South for the third straight season. They defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card round.
