NFL “Approached” 16-Time Grammy Award Winner To Host Super Bowl LX Halftime Show In Surprising Twist

The NFL has reportedly approached 16-time Grammy Award winner Adele to perform at the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime show, following previous reports of Taylor Swift dropping clues.
The upcoming Super Bowl will be hosted at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, next February, with the British singer now thought to be the league’s first choice, though nothing is agreed yet, per Page Six.
“Adele has been approached about playing the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, insiders tell Page Six — but she has not been booked to play the gig,” the publication notes.
Front Office Sports has also pointed out that Taylor Swift could be a possibility, with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell recently claiming she’s still a “maybe.”

Swift could be busy with her wedding plans as she’s now engaged to marry Chiefs star Travis Kelce. Fans also have someone in mind who could dethrone her and were recently rallying behind that artist.
Adele Has Been To The Super Bowl Several Times

Goodell spoke to NBC’s ‘Today’ earlier this month and said Swift is “a special, special talent,” who could perform “at any time without any problem,” but it would ultimately be up to Jay-Z.
Adele, meanwhile, his a huge football fan who has attended multiple Super Bowls but rejected an offer to headline the 2017 halftime show.
“That show is not about music. I can’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I did say no,” she told fans during a performance in 2016.
Adele is also engaged to be married and is in a relationship with star agent Rich Paul, whom she has been dating since 2021.
At this point, it’s unclear if she will perform at the break in February, but it would come as a massive development should she agree.
