And now, continuing his string of surprises, the Nets star got shouted at by his own teammate. The reason? Well, the 27-year-old apparently stole Nic Claxton’s rebound!
The incident took place as the Brooklyn Nets geared up to face the Boston Celtics in the Emirates NBA Cup game. During the first quarter, Anfernee Simons tried to score from the 3-point range. Unfortunately, while he missed, the rebound was up for grabs.
And this is where things got competitive between Porter Jr. and Claxton. With both the players trying to get hold of the ball, it was the 27-year-old who outmuscled his own teammate.
