The UFC has already revealed its first-quarter lineup of 2026. While there is very little information available about the next quarter, one event that every MMA fan has marked on their calendars is the UFC White House, scheduled to take place on June 14, 2026. While the exact fights are not yet revealed, numerous speculations are being made at the moment. Just a short while back, President Donald Trump revealed some important details about the upcoming event.

Unfortunately, Trump screwed up one detail about the event that MMA fans noticed instantly. During the short clip that is currently surfacing on the internet, Trump gave details about the White House fight:

“The great Dana White is building an arena, and they’re going to have eight or nine championship fights, the biggest fights they’ve ever had…He’s actually holding back fights right now for six months, so he can do it for this 250. I think 250 is going to be amazing.”

“I think the arena is going to be five or 6000 seats right in front of the front door of the White House, and 100,000 people in the back, where they’re putting up eight or 10 very big screens. That’s going to be exciting, so many people are asking for tickets,” continued Trump.

In total, there are eight titles in UFC for male athletes and four for female fighters. While this increases the total number of titles to twelve, it is impossible for eight or nine championship fights to occur in one event. Historically speaking, the most title fights that have ever occurred at UFC are three. And even this was one rare exception. Normally, not more than two title fights take place in one night. This led to considerable backlash from fans.

As soon as the clip made its way to social media, UFC fans quickly started engaging with the post, taking a dig at Donald Trump. One fan wrote: “He has no clue what he’s talking about.”

Another person commented: “I think he pretends to understand the sport because there is absolutely ZERO chance there is any more than 3 title fights, he always seems to have the dumbest mma takes.”

A netizen shared a funny GIF reacting to Trump’s statement and wrote: “Has the UFC even got 8 or 9 titles ?”

“Bro how will every division have their title fight on one card,” another comment read.

Giving Mr. President the benefit of the doubt, one person wrote: “Chances are he meant 8-9 former champions on the card.”

A joking comment from one of the fans read: “The number of title fights will exceed the seating capacity of the event !”

“If I know mma then every single one of them would end up going to decision and we’d be sat there for 14 hours,” a person stated.

Another funny comment from a fan read: “Dana will be sweating bullets when he hears this.”

Despite Donald Trump’s mistake, one thing he did say correctly was that the event will surely be a big one. It will go down in history as one of the most anticipated sporting events of the century.
