Brandon Moreno and Henry Cejudo’s rivalry has been the talk of the town for a while now. Surprisingly, at the UFC 323 press conference, Henry Cejudo finally extended his hand to put an end to their ongoing feud. Moreno, too, expressed interest in moving past their differences.

UFC 323 press conference was held on December 04, 2025, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Amidst many other media interactions was the surprising truce between the duo. UFC 323 might be the last time Cejudo steps inside the Octagon. Before his potential final showdown, Henry addressed his relationship with Moreno at the moment.

“We weren’t just training partners at one point, we used to live together…I really want to bury this hatchet with you, man,” stated Cejudo. Continuing forward, he said: “I think it was also meant to be…I went off, became a world champ. Yourself, You went out to become a world champ…I really want to bury this hatchet with you.”

Replying to Henry’s comments, Moreno stated: “Oh man, I really appreciate the comments brother…I prefer to talk with you behind the scenes and be clear, you know. I feel a little bit uncomfortable with all the people in front, you know, but I mean..I really appreciate it. I’ve been always a guy of peace, and that’s it, you know. So maybe we can talk a little bit later brother but I really appreciate what he’s right now.”

From 2014 to 2016, Cejudo and Moreno trained together in Arizona. However, their bond began to sour when Cejudo picked Alexandre Pantoja over Moreno as the first pick in his team. This led to Moreno being sent to Joseph Benavidez’s camp. The duo developed bad blood and rivalry from that point. While both of them went on to win UFC titles, the grudge remained intact in their hearts.

Over the years, both fighters exchanged heated words. Fortunately, as the duo prepares for the upcoming UFC 323 event, after a long rivalry, the duo appears to have finally settled their differences.
