NFL Is Reportedly Investigating Eagles Head Of Security Dom DiSandro
Derrick Gunn reported Wednesday that the NFL is still investigating Eagles head of security Dom DiSandro. The trigger is Emmanuel Acho’s Speakeasy podcast from early August.
Acho never named a team or a man. He played for the Browns, Eagles and Giants during his NFL career. Speculation pointed at Philadelphia anyway.
Acho said he rear-ended another car on the way to practice one day. He then called team security and received some blunt advice.
“When the cop shows up, send the cop away,” Acho said. “I’m going to send you another cop. And that other cop is going to say it wasn’t your fault. It was their fault.” Acho added, “I was like, ‘Wait, they do that?’”
He said the second officer arrived. That officer blamed the other driver. Then she learned he played for the Eagles. She claimed she and her daughter were hurt.
“Our head of security had to offer them two home tickets plus signed jerseys,” Acho said. “And then were like, ‘Oh, no, we’re fine.’”
Dom DiSandro Now Sits Under League Review
Gunn covered that ground first.
“The NFL is still investigating Eagles head of security Dom DiSandro based on comments made by Emmanuel Acho,” he wrote. “Acho who played for 3 NFL teams never mentioned a name. But it has been widely speculated he was referring to Big Dom.”

Mike Florio laid out the same report. The league has not confirmed it. The Eagles have not answered it. Dom DiSandro has not spoken.
Florio said the Browns and Giants should face the same questions if the league is serious. He called it a possible league-wide habit. Team security chiefs often play fixer. This story puts that job on paper.
Dom DiSandro Faces More Than A Sideline Fine
This is not Dom DiSandro’s first league file. The NFL fined him $100,000 and suspended him after the Dre Greenlaw fight in 2023. Last year the league hit him again for texting from the bench. That fine was $75,000.
He still works three jobs: Chief security officer; Senior advisor to Howie Roseman and Director of gameday coaching operations. He also steps into sideline brawls when the team gets heated.
Asante Samuel ripped Acho, not Dom. Samuel called him a “gossip queen” dying for attention.

Acho put tickets, jerseys, and a second cop on a podcast. Dom DiSandro now has to wait on the NFL. The next move belongs to the league, not the sideline.
